  1. Just a quick bump :)

I've now added a filter to display entries with photos only, and you can now insert a YouTube into your entry in the owners register, there's now an improved statistics page to break down the data into useful figures.

If anyone has any feature requests, please let me know :)

  2. Hi all,

I'm just about to get a new slam panel sprayed up thats another colour to what I want it to be!

I've stripped all the plastic bits etc... off it, with the exception of the 2 plastic "guides" that the bonnet pins locate into that lock it into position....

my question...... what is the best way to go with this? get the bodyshop to mask them up, or is it easy to drill them out and rivet back into place after, im worried that they will crack and crumble away upon trying to fit them!

Can you get these new still from anywhere or does anyone have a couple in good condition I.E no cracking?

I'm going to do a trial on the panel currently on the car and see how I get on, but some opinions would be good :)

    Cheers

    Pete

  3. I paid 108 sheets, that included painting too, mine were not nice to look at and and surface rust that were on mine have now gone.

I think it was around the 85 sheet mark for the service without the paint, I just like doing things properly!

Will have them in next weekend for sure, and will let you know how they are in the car, however the before and after flow rates speak for themselves, it's more piece of mind to be honest, given the amount of work I've done, last thing I want is to be on the rolling road with a cylinder not getting a good spray of fuel... I've learnt to cover the basics off first as I want to maximise the modifications I have on the rolling road mapping session.

  4. Howdy!

Well snow has gone and horrible cold weather, time to resume work on the corrado!

I've taken a few steps back after the mouse chewed through my wiring loom so need get it fixed up next week!

I sent my injectors off to mr injector last week and got them back Thursday.

I've also in the process of making a cam locking tool, cams and injectors will be going in next weekend all being well, then will focus getting the last few bits to replace subframe and install new gearbox (3.68).

Want it on the road for May....

  5. Cheers!

The old site was fundamentally flawed in terms of the navigation and made things difficult to find!

The new design is far better and has a lot if scope for improvements.

Winter sucks especially with us seasonal folk! Christmas is expensive and I've not even thought about working on my car for months!

I've only just started getting the enthusiasm again so hopefully it will be "finished one day" soon :-)
