  1. annoying...

i know what has probably happened "Dave can you MOT that car over there" and hes just blindly done it, not bothered to look at the job sheet.. .assuming they have done one to begin with!

my MOT station were very helpful trying to get my cars through the MOT, to the point the put new straps on my inner CV boots, aligned my head lights for me and thew in a free bulb... my daily eventually passed the 3rd time (Free re-tests, and cost me £25 for the initial test). due to the CAT needing replacing, did the work myself too.

corrado they were very accomodating, let me have a good poke around underneath and aligned headlights... failed on other things, but doing the work myself.

  2. thanks for the reply...

it does look as if its suggesting a blocked pipe, or trapped somewhere... does anyone know the route of the pipe?

ive been looking at many fuel tank photos on the net, but no luck seeing where it runs.. would i be able to see any of the pipe if i removed the plate in the boot above the fuel tank for a closer look?

dont really want to drop the fuel tank if I really really have too :)

  3. Glad you were not dissapointed with the radiator Dave. for the price, its very good, surprised at how well everything bolted backtogether and looks supurb once the cowl has been powdercoated etc...

I think i'll probably end up replacing the sensors on the thermostat housing as well as a new oil-cooler then im 100% happy with everything, im convinced my oil is hotter than it should be... 104 and only drove it a few miles, and its the only thing ive not replaced. glad your oil temp issue was a quick fix.

  4. I drive 85 miles to get to stealh, worth it, wouldnt take my VR6 anywhere else! been going to vince for nearly 10 years... hes currently building my VR6 gearbox with new new bearings, seals, 3.68 final drive, cant wait to get that in along with my schimmel 263's :)

  5. ARGH!!!

Not sure?!? Is this for me?!! Standard VR with under 65k mileage, just usual mods...

    Yes is the answer :)

263's have provided some really good results, in some cases with a proven 20BHP increase, just see the original group buy thread from last time... I dont expect another group buy for a while, nor do you see these very oftern for sale second hand considering the numbers from the last group buy :) just goes to show how good these cams are... and if you decided to take part, and the other 3 people pay the amount, then we will get these at a bargain price of £370 :)

cant go wrong... naturally, you may need to budget a remap if you have other mods in mind etc, im sure they will compliment your other mods too.

  6. You'll probably want to unwrap the bit of loom going down the passenger side chassis leg upto the multi plug, just rewrap it after. No biggy. I just found the wires there. Hopefully you've not stripped them from the look totally.
