So - Food -Its probably easiest to do Sausages and burgers - which i can get from the butchers so they are good quality - with bread rolls Generally - is everyone happy with that - with sauce of course. I will cook these on my BBQ, Bacon is a tad harder - sorry. I noticed last time, people started getting hungary again mid/late afternoon - so I will try and at least sort biscuits, cakes and there is the garage that is open very close by. I only have one table, can someone bring another please, and a Gazebo - Club one possibly ? ! I will keep an eye on numbers and assume everyone is going to have food, coffee and tea. Wendy

I am stunned - my VR6 reading on the MFA 2 is finally reading an excellent figure 28.9. Never thought I would see that - and all on normal unleaded. That keeping to 50mph on the trips to work is obviously having an impact. !!!

Aqua Blue is by far a superior colour to the Silver - in my opinion !!! You get at least 4 colours with the Aqua Blue dependent on where you park it. People call it Midnight Blue, Black, some purpley colour than Aqua

Understanding all the points made, I do not see a problem though with a petition - if it gets the point accross and gets just some of the parts made - then surely it was worth it. I do think it would need to be a Worldwide petition though, not just the UK market. Don't ask - don't get - Simples !

Is Motorway or dual carriageway driving part of getting your Licence these days - as if not - it should be. I get equally frustrated on these roads when people will not pull over due to a vehicle being in their sights miles ahead on the inner lane - but then amazingly they only brake when the vehicle infront of them brakes - becoming suddenly short sighted and no clue of what is going on on the road ahead. Half the time i am using my brakes to indicate to drivers behind I am slowing rather than actually needing to. We should send them all over to Germany to use the Autobahns - the Germans I sure would almost physically drive them off the road.

Clunk is very normal on many VR's. Change of wishbones did settle mine down to occassional clunk -not an issue I am told - other than the annoyance. Mpg - seems ok to me too. 37 mpg on a good run - I never see that !!!!!!! If you keep the car below 3000 rpm until your oil temp reaches 80 and also dont rag it up to the 3000rpm - that should help. I only do 4 miles to work some days and have found if I keep the car mph below 50mph - my mph massively improves even on that short distance. It does appears differing fuel stations suppossedly offering the same fuel - are getting differing performances in mph too. Morrisons was recently being slated by some, but others - me included have found their fuel to be some of the best for overal mpg All VW's have Tappetty noises on start up - or all mine have - now on my fourth VW. Even changed the Tappets on one - and no different. Spoiler - get some grease into it now - hopefully will aid its life - I will leave the boys to guide you further on this. All the other bits - too technical for me - good luck in getting it all sorted.

Corozon (John) has his car off the road, broken again and I think he is getting very fed up with it. So, I believe he is without any transport. I did get a Joke email about 2 weeks ago, so he is around.

I have just done a 411 mile trip round Birmingham, up to Liverpool, back down to Matlock and home - Not one Corrado ! Where were you all ?

I had children in the car at the weekend - Not good for the heart !! Naturally they were read the Riot Act beforehand. Shoes off - no marking my back seats Fingers do not touch windows No Eating, Drinking, Spitting, Breathing, Farting (this easily goes wrong !!! ) etc etc And lots of encouragement to the Driver - who did not exceed 45 mph, but made it sound fantastic to sounds of cries of excitment !! Infact its my girlfriends who are the worst by a very long way. The throw away society is definetely to blame - but then thats the same for most Material pocessions. Round here now - there are advisaries when parking - that if you take up two parking spaces - you will be clamped.

I think the Corrado looks better then the new Rocco - personally. I would have gone down the Porsche Cayman route for the type of money being spent !!!

I bought my ticket early, am going to the site on Saturday - hard core camping no less - a club member, will be on the stand etc etc - will i get a Limited Edition sticker - might have to riot if not !!!!

There are only a few who have good paint show and shine cars. This is just a Club Stand - your car does not have to be that pretty, its more about a show of cars and meeting up with others in the Club. Some do try to have cleanish cars for the day and others fail miserably !!! (That would often be me then !!)

I would take the route through the Alps, so you are in and out of the shade - drive at full pelt windows wide open for maximum air flow and enjoy !! You could try taking lots of water to deal with the dehydration too. ;-) If you stop before you leave the car, put both front seats forward - stops the a..... being burnt quite so badly - and - looks after the leather better.

WE should be going on Aug 29th - sounds a proper petrol head weekend. B & B booked for Sat night 16/09/11. Are we meeting up on the Sat evening ?

Whatever the price it will be cheaper than breaking down in France. I found RAC to be good, albeit I have not had to use them abroad. I have however, years ago and not in the Corrado broken down in France,not a good experience. As long as you have the Corrado reguarly serviced and generally well looked after - there is no reason for a breakdown in France rather then here. I always get Vince to check over the car before any of my longer trips.

I am staying in Grantham at a friends the Friday evening, so not far away from Harewood and if I can drag my girlfriend out of her pit early enough, then we should be able to make it soon after the gates open on Saturday - which I belive is 12 noon ?

I thought we had the full coverage on BBC 1 till 2018 - so how come the change. I am really not impressed - I do not have Sky and do not want Sky, there are enough TV channels already as far as I am concerned without being encouraged to sit in and watch even more Sh..t ! I will not be paying to watch F1, so guess i will have more weekends to do other things. Corrado driving weekends perhaps. Such a shame as F1 had improved drastically over the last two years and i loved watching Qually in full the Race in full etc. I am presuming you would not get to watch F1 with the basic Sky package anyway and would need to purchase Sky sports ? I would rather lose 'Clarksons I Love me Show' (otherwise known as Top Gear)
