on looks-merc hands down! a few of my mate drive bmw's, theres a 316, 318 and 328td all black, all m reg and with the same crapy looking dash :pukeleft:

sounds like most of us already had the vw bug and started off with golfs in there earilier form (mk1-3) and move on to have a C. wounder if this is a natural progresion of the vag modin bug we all seem to have? :scratch:

i was just thinkin there a lot of us on here really, and there must be some good stories behide it - so how did we all end up where we are now (with a car we no and love for sure but probably a low bank acount to go with it). what i mean is how did we turn ourselfs from 'oh thats a nice car, what is it'? to I MUST HAVE A RADO! :twisted: i remember when i first saw a c (i must of been about 10). a friend who lived next door had an older bro who was in the army or somthing, so didnt see him around much. but i can can still recall the the fisrt time the bright red beast pulling round our corner one day, it was a 1.8 16v and wasnt new or anything but still one of the nicest car to come round our way! he took us out in it somewhere that day but all i remember from the trip is the sound and looks of the car! as it goes he only ended up keepin it for 6 months or there abouts, so i only saw it the once. but it planted the seed in my mind! and so it turns out that years later when im about 16 i had alot of older mates (all of them with vag motors, mostly golf). so you can see how i lost the way a little bit with cars (right family, wrong sister :wink: ) ending up with a few golfs under my belt, but it wasnt until i saw this c in the pvw mag (showing me potential this already great car had) that i got myself well and trully weilded back on the rado tracks :luvlove:

Thats well out of order! dont no about the rest of you guy and girls on here but if you need a hand sorting them out out im in.

ive got some fairy power spray, cut throught that grease and grim in no time :lol:

then i look at this :notworthy: and this is the car i saw in pvw that turned me from liking the c and havin one one day to.. i HAVE to have this car and just like that! but this option leaves me with a MINT standard c but next to no cash :mrgreen: :confused4: :help:

thing thats starting to tip the scales for me tho (with help from friends) is that if i buy the black one ill have enought cash (only just tho) to change the grill and lights, get a full stainless, lower and have the wheels i want! i mean i could have the c looking like this in a matter of weeks?!?

thing is i like the c most of the colours it comes in and especially in the colours that make it stand out from the norm (eg. ice grey violet, burgundy, and inka blue ect). god this isnt makin this easy :mad: but ive been lookin forever (9ish months) and ive passed up a few good vr6's thinkin ill find a greater one next time! and i know once ive bought i will, just sods law. these 2 seem to be up there with the better one ive seen for my money, with good s/h, leather, low miles ect. now i just have to work out which one i want to live with if i end up buying???

they both sound top notch and im treating them as such to help me make up my mind! and ive been hunting for a good vr6 like these for about 9 months, but have never sat down and thought what colour really suits the car or i would want one in, weird i know!?

i found 2 really great sounding C's, both with black leather and lots of s/h from traders, one black with around 80k and one blue with around 60k. but there a long way away from me (140miles) :( but since me and a mate have decided to make a weekend trip up from the south for ulitmate dubs this weekend im going to them a necessary stop :lol: . but if i buy which should i go for? the blue one streachs me to the maxs on cash and the blank would leave me some £££ to start the mods process! but ive allways thought id have a blue c, HELP :?:

with all the plans ive got in mind for under the bonnet of the vr6 (hopfully getting the bhp up to around the 230-240 mark) i was thinking it would be a good idea to uprate the clutch aswell-wouldnt it???. has anyone got advice what one i should go for or steer clear of for that matter? any help will be welcome,thanks.
