Not an expert mate, but i think for a run around and if your after a lower maintanence, the 16v is the better option. I think some people would agree. Someone will be along to advise better.

REALLY!? feck, it is well hidden! ill give it a go. Was it standard on all models? Didnt realise my G60 had heated washer jets until i came to take bonnet off and put new/second-hand one on. Theres plugs to go into the washers but werent there on replacement bonnet. -

about 10 months. 12 if you include my first rado.... shortlived :( -
Im sure thats a spare space isnt it? Could be wrong. my 94 2.0ltr just had a blank space. heated window on top, front and rear fogs on the bottom and the other top one was blanked out. "corrado" is derived from the Spanish verb 'correr', which means to run or to sprint

Leeds, West Yorkshire. ebygum.

no no mate very helpful. One question, half way down no.3 you mention something about rubber seats that can be adjsuted. What are they? And is it the slam panel or the bonnet theyre on? If on the slam panel where are they?

On the contrary gaz, my gf is a huge veedub fan. She'd kill me if i got rid of the C. She loves it. Sometimes a bit too much though when she starts referring to it like its a person, male at that. Bless her, with her lil 1.0L Lupo SE.

the main part of what you said, is it regarding the big pins at the front, or was your edited part regarding the big pins at the front?
-
Will adjusting the big pins on the front help? Do they adjust?
-
Well ive just finished at having another go. Managed to get bonnet to close but its slightly raised at the bumped side and the bonnet is up against the wing on one side and theres a slight gap between the bonnet and the wing on the bumped side. Ive measured the wings from the front of one to the back of the other for both of them and theyre 59" apart. So the wings appear to be online.

Bought one of the "fresh" keys from ebay, the G60 one. Got it cut no probs. Works a treat. Even has a torch hehehe which IS handy when trying to find the lock in the dark. £14 quid plus postage
-
Nah the chassis will be fine. It was only a small bump. Glad to hear the bonnet CAN be adjusted, gave me some hope ther Valerian, Cheers bud, you dont know how much that means to me. Want my baby back on the road. Another Q while we're at it. I need to seal the inside of the wing, what seal should i use?
-
well the prob is i didnt attach the wire for the bonnet pull properly so it cant be used to open the bonnet, But i think its down to the bonnet not fitting properly. Like i say one side has gone down the hole that it should go down. The bonnet doesnt run parallel to the wings, its slanted. The gap increases along the wing (from window to the front of car) that i had to replace, while the other side the gap gets closer to the wing and will even over lap on the side that is ok. Can the bonnet be adjusted with the bolts that hold it onto the hinges to straighten it. I think all will be ok if the bonnet is straight. Any ideas as to why the bonnet is not straight? I measured the wings so they are in the correct position.
-
hmmmm im stuck then as to why it isnt going on straight. GRRRR
