hate to rub it in, but my girlfriend suprised me at xmas with one of the revell (self build) 1/24th models. same as that but just red rado on the front. Havent had chance to build it yet. Dont care how much its worth, i want one to build it not look at the box. hehehe they do go for a lot though. she wont tell me how much she spent on it. Bless her.

no nothing like that around my airbox.

MFA works ok, bar the fact it resets itself when ignition is turned off. but thats not related to this. Is the temp sensor blue? cant see where it can be. Thing is ive had bumper off myself due to damage and have replaced it with a different one. Couldnt see no wires pretruding out of the bumper that could be for this.
-
Ive taken the brake ducts off my car to get the bumper off. Ive discovered a plug on the drivers side one. However i couldnt see a wire with a plug to go into it? Can someone tell me what it is, what it does, why there isnt anything plugged into it and should should there be? thanks guys.
-
ive managed to do it. but youre right bumper has a bigger gap one side. But reason for replacement is cos i had a bump. so cant expect it to be spot on again.
-
Ok, ive managed to get the bumper on (see other thread). Now the bonnet has decided to cause problems. Bascically ive put a different bonnet on. The problem is i went to shut it and one side locked but the other hasnt. Pulling the bonnet release hasnt worked. How do you over release the bonnet now? Also does the bonnet release wire go in front of the radiator upside down L shaped holders. or behind, closer to radiator itself? Thanks

ok looking at the pic you added. Ive taken out the one at the top and bottom. (or front and back, which ever way you want to see it) the one to the right on that pic ive managed to get back in. How ever the bottom one (backone) doesnt seem long enough. Sorry to repeat myself, just want to make sure you know what i mean.
-
think i did take the cross member ones out too. Proving difficult to get it back in. Ive taken out the front one and the back one, of the three that are in a row.
-
you have 3 bolts in a row right. middle one stays in. The one at the back on either side doesnt seem to reach the hole its suppose to be threading into thus not being able to screw it in. The front ones, ive managed to get oneside in but not the other. Any i can do to make it easier?
-
ok let me try say it again. there are the 2 long bolts on either side and one short one. Plus one other bolt which you dont need to take out thats in the middle of 2 of the 3 bolts. i've pushed the bumper as far in as i can get it. Ive manage to get all the bolts back in bar, the 1 furthest from the front of the car on either side, they seem too short. and the one furthest front on one side in. will jacking the engine up help?
-
come on guys a bit of help needed
-
aye, look on ebay. £30 for both sides and easy to do
-
Ok guys had a search on here on how to take off front bumper. I found a link to another forum on how to do it. It said take the four 17mm bolts off from each side, i ended up taking the three out and not the on in the middle (middle one of the 3 that are in a row). Now im trying to get front bumper back on. Any advice on how to get the bolts back in??? Ive got the one on the wing side in ok. But the other 2 (longer bolts) will not go in. The back one on either side doesnt seem long enough for a start. The front 2 feel as if they go in and fall out. HOW THE HELL DO YOU DO IT? ive even tried jacking it up to get the rubber absorbers to compress but no joy. Any help appreciated, needed ASAP. Thanks Gaz

ALMOST A RESULT. Suprisingly i got a letter today from Hanson, the councils contractor, when i had said earlier i doubt ill hear anything  stroke of luck there. The matter is being looked into by them and they'll get back in touch with me. So im say, GET A CLAIM IN! even if the council deny responsibility, they'll probably blame their contractors.

Yeah its definately worth a shot. However like Madjackal said, theres no evidence. The council will probably just fob you off with something like they did with me. The council sent me a letter saying. We do not accept responability, they think their contractors who surface road for them are. They apparently sent my details on to them along with pics and they'll be in touch. That was last nov and i still havent heard anything and doubt i will.

yup similar to what happened to me. Looks a tad worse though. Best get tyre checked out too. Get a alloy repair place to have a look at it (stating the obvious there) see what they say.
-
Bad luck mate, i buckled front pass side BK 166, due to a pothole with yellow line round it. Council denied responibility and said it was the contracters fault for not filling hole in. Good luck to you mate on getting it sorted.

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...
Critical_Mass replied to Jim's topic in General Car Chat
had a small bump in rado 24th december (hadnt drunk anything before its mentioned) some idiot decided to pull out on me on a dual carriage way to reverse into his drive. obv didnt look, damage to my pass front corner. today i bin mostly..... removing bonnet, front bumper, lights, slam panel and front pass wing. Tomorrow i be mostly bending inner front wing back to shape, fitting front wing, slam panel front bumper and lights. Mint my baby back on the road, albeit needing a new coat. Still i can drive her. -
Looking good Shilakadaddy, The wheels on the grey rado are mint, suit it nicely
-
so anyone think or heard of a new corrado, just out of interest? That WOULD be kewl. Though it wouldnt be the same as the original
-
Just seen a sorry excuse for a car site.
