im pulling my rado off the road monday - it will be sorn, but why the hell should i pay insurance for a car that is sat on axle stands in my garage!

well i was having some thought yesterday ive been modding cars for 7/8 years now and everytime ive finished a car i wish i'd left it alone so what do you prefer, modified cars, or standard cars im not talking standard micras either, nice cars, corrados for instance :lol:

they really do mate - but its going back to standard and the cars not being sold. you could say its being restored.........

mine is a seperate policy in the missus name and comes in at a massive £290 a year fully comp :D

let me see - my 2.0 16v get a OE steering wheel and rid of the momo one that came with the car get an OE gearknob - for some reason it has a alloy G60 one sort out why its cutting out some times (got a list thanks to search!!!!) sell the Enzo cup 17" alloys and get some OE G60 BBS rims sor the two tiny patches of rust respray the bonnet whip the lump out and clean everything to 'out of the factory' look get a real parcel shelf that doesnt have 6x9 holes fix the non start problem with a new peice of wire fit OE door pins and get rid of the alloy ones find and fit an OE stereo and sell all the alpine, pioneer and amp stuff sell the lowered suspension springs and shocks and fit OE springs and shocks can you see a pattern developing,...........

does anyone happen to have any photos of standard pearl green 16v's? i looked quickly on here and on the corrado database but none sprung out at me. help greatly appreciated 8)

yup daily drivers are the bomb, my rovers alot comfier and more realistic on the petrol to go to work!

some of the swedish S2s are absolutley unbeliavable. Girl on my sites just bought an S2 after selling her NA SUpra MK4 and she loves it to peices i had an audi 80 Tdi late model though and i loved it - but the ones i would really love is the RS2 ;D and its 2.2 20v turbo with 230bhp as standard in the S2 ;) but its coupled with the greatest 4x4 system ever - quattro 8)

i also wasnt going to buy one but the lad i bought it off had recently changed to the enzo cup rims and it realyl grew on me plus i had killed my rover at the ring and was after summat german to take there next year
