Clio 182 - hit me with your thoughts
logicaltuning replied to jedi-knight83's topic in General Car Chat
mmmm now as far as i dont agree with french cars the clio 172s and 182s are great build quality aint the best but anycar will go forever if looked after - i swear by that look at all the old volvos on the road nowadays - 20 years old and still going - renault engines in them mind, like mine, 2.3 litre, 170,000 miles on the original clutch, headgasket etc but look at most renaults - fall to peices after a couple of years, but look after it and it will serve you well i still prefer the megane 225 though, not sure how much they go for though! -
white one? often seen on the M6? theres also a Stretched lincoln navigator near me :D

In-car video for trackdays etc- any advice?
logicaltuning replied to Ice White Socks's topic in General Car Chat
the reason videos were banned at the ring is that someone posted a vid on the internet of someone else dying in an accident, some cars are aloud on with cameras, but theyre for mags, dvds. if you get caught, your likely to be banned for a while from the ring. if you still wanna do it bullet cams, hidden in the grille or splitter hooked up to a wireless transmitor wit the camera hidden somewhere in the car. and im off to the ring again in July, maybe see you there! -
i aint really had many races in my rado but i did embarress an idiot in a corsa 1.2 new shape with tints whos girlfriend was in the car thing was i was in my 2 tonne volvo 2.3 rwd. :D

i LOVE yank tanks if you ever get the chance, go to an american drag car show, its beyond great, personally i HATE drag racing, but the noise these things make, and the looks! always prefered the charger over the challenger. but i LOVE the old mustangs. sting rays are one of the sexiest cars of all time, 59 cadi's and a volvo amazon with a roof chop, not american, but certainly looks it!
-
just like mine, BUT RED! :D keep it up! tis all about the G60BBS rims, low as chuff, smooth grille, oval backbox and thats about it!
-
well do live with her, so its a bit different lol plus she now wants to spend cash on it, whereas when it was'mine' she wasnt so keen
-
well my rado has been sat in the garage for about three months since i swapped wheels with phil k. its sorned, not insured, not mot'd but after handing the keys over to my girlfirend a couple of weeks ago i decided it was time to sort it for her i removed all the sponsor graphics and the car loooks soooo much better on G60 BBS rims and low as hell, charged the battery and got the car running again but had to take it out! took it round the block. so glad we ditched the 17s for the 15s, the handling is miles better! it doesnt crash around so much anymore either must of looked weird though, no number plates, tax disc and just a logicaltuning.com sticker where the front number plate was. soooo next plans, get it ready for the nurburgring in July and sort a trailer for it after the problems i had last year breaking my last car!

mmmm i wonder if thats the country i saw a couple of years ago in wolverhampton, same colour and RHD !

my volvo handbook recommends a thinner set of winter wheels, this is why snow spec rally cars always have thinner tyres - cuts through the snow, wide tyres = bad = bigger surface area. my rwd volvo is sound in the snow, drives nice, easy to control, slides nice out of corners, simple my corrado on the other hand hasnt been out in the snow, its not road legal

-
ive got a 280mm momo, and it looks shite, feels okay, but ive put a standard steering wheel back on, i just use sparco racing gloves instead, make a difference to any steering wheel
-
soooo ive heard of people cecking things in their engine via their laptop, but the question is, what softwear is needed, and where does it plug in?!
-
im missing mine too, although its just sat in the garage, it will be back though!!!!!
-
