nice cars, had a little play with one of those recently in my mk3 down the A11, was quicker than me, but not as much as i thought but then revving to 9k might help a lot!!!

if you have a NIP, they have 6 months to book the court, got done for 64 in a 50 when the police were going after someone else, they only done me cause i was an easy target on the bike and they thought they could get me for dangerous driving for filtering, got the letter 5 months and 2 weeks after the offence!

currently 0mpg, car is still sat on the driveway until we get it taxed!!!!

got the electric windows switches on the console with the handbrake. the mirrors control is on the drivers door about where the switch is for the mk3

given this to the mrs to replace the mk2 golf, needs some TLC but with full VAG SH and 74k miles, karmann leather, dont think it was too bad for such a small amount of money just need to get it MOT'd and on the road, then i'll start bringing it back to its original condition

a friend of mine recently sold his r400 for a JPE, blew the engine on a trackday, bought a brand new one and blew that one aswell

anyone know if this is a rare colour for a corrado? i'm after a few bits for the car and i bet they are so rare, that i'll have to buy other parts and get the resprayed!!!

Picked up the corrado today and there have a few questions. 1) Has the full electric pack, sunroof/windows/mirrors etc, but for some reason the central locking doesnt seem to work, any ideas on what to check? i presume they all had c/l anyway!! has the pin on the fule cap to lock the flap like the mk3 golf 2) sunroof tilts, but will not slide, any idea on what i can do to clean/replace to get it working? 3) MFA shows 99.9 any idea where the sensors are to clean? 4) paint code, C is a '89 'g' 16v in a met blue, any idea where the paintcode is? 5) induction kit, is the engine the same as the mk2 golf 16v? if so, could i use one of those induction kits? i'll post pictures up later on, but i need a few parts for it first!

probably not a massive bit of help, but my mk3 made 166bhp at the fly at stealth last year and that equatd to 122 at the wheels, 44bhp loss

thought that was a fiat coupe from the back!

Anyone know if you van get angel eyes by FK for the corrado? i've got them on the mk3 and would like the same on the C, dont really like the inpro ones

any idea on the colour code for that? pretty sure its the same as the valver i'm going to pick up soon

Probably a really simple question, i should be getting my C within the week but it has a broken drivers headlight. As its a 1990 G plate, is it a new headlight or a replacement lens?

got the 650 on my mk3 and what they say is correct, the alarm is only as good as the install. Mine was done by a local chap called studweiser and its a top job. Only false alarms i've had have been when a 50p coin dropped dow the gap where the hand brake is and onto the dual proximity unit. once i removed that it was perfect again. has the remote start and engine monitoring!

the garage are going to do the rack, fuel filler reservior, CV joint and basic prep for £100 should get the car hopefully next week and then keep it on the parking space whilst i sort it all out, clean it, fit stereo etc think it will need a drivers wing and headlight lens now. are the wings bolt on only? or do they need welding on aswell?

thats perfect, thanks thought the 16v would be on a par with performace from the mk2 8v, but infact it seems quicker, not really that bothered as its gonna be the mrs car. neighbours are gonna love me soon, will have 2 golfs, 1 corrado and 1 company car, 2 motorbikes and possibly a third. all with no garage and 1 allocated parking space!! need to sell this house and buy a new one!!

Is there a link to the stats of all corrado's? i want to know weights and performance to compare to my mk2 and mk3 golf. thanks

just agreed the price for the car, just need to get the bits to the garage now. anyone know whst size the wheels are? will my 15" 4 stud mk2 golf wheels fit?

fellow R1 rider!!! nice :) Looks like i might go through with buying this car, its a 1990 16v with 70 odd thousand on the clock and full leather interior. It was spun at night and done a little bit of damage, most has been done except a few little bits now
