1600 miles in 4 days and we only broke down once!!! Wiper motor packed in on the M3 in rush hour in the worst rain I have seen in months :( Picked up by brakedown and delivered to a mates in London. 1 trip to volkspares and 20 mins later and we were off. Up the A1 the across the A66 and up to Glasgow for a night on the piss then up the A82 to Oban and Fort William. Then returned 2 Days later all the way back down to cornwall and guess what I only saw 1 c the whole trip in a car park in Oban. Was a very nice J plate 16valver, parked in Combie court, if you are on here she looks sweet. Took a detour up Glen Nevis and took a few snaps. Scared the shit out of a photographer who was taking picks of someone on a trials bike as we screamed past putting the c through her paces on the windy roads. Great fun. Well I think you were all hiding from the rain but here are some picks of our works in progress not to mention some fantastic scenery. T

Have you spoken to the garage? i guess you have reciepts for work done or the logbooks stamped? If you want i can go into the garage for you and ask what they know about the car? i'll prob be up that way either this or next thursday? do you have any pics? can i ask any more questions?! The owner in Bristol was a Mr Blything and it seems he had her for about 3 years, Serviced at Gordano motor services!!!!!!! Any good? And Are you on here??? Also serviced at Filton Centeral Garage for about 2years and owned by a Mr C Mcintosh from Filton Bristol, You Here???? Fitted bezel rings and blue leds in dash, Switches to come but they sound like bit of a ball ache!!!!!!!!! Fitted lupo gti wipers lord knows how i survived without them!!! Fitted new head unit (replacement from sony for the one that blew up)!!! Thought about washing her, thought about the amount of seagulls in cornwall who love nothing more than sh**ing on a nice shiny moter..........Didnt!!

Thank god all sorted, Went to local stealer to pick up Lupo wipers!!!!!!!!!!!! What a difference if I had known before this would of been the first 100 notes spent on my baby. Whilst there grabbed a mech and cried for help. He changed both fuses and one of the relays and sorted. Guess what didnt charge me a penny either. Said nice car mate whats with the wipers as he had never heard of anyone doing this and that was that. Spose some of them are not too bad!!! Still a ton for they pleasure of seeing where I was going though!!!!

Yup got the uprated loom. Will look at the fuses . How do you check the relay? Tim

Dont know if anyone has had this one. Lights on dipped ok. Flick stalk for main beam and light comes on, on dash. BUT lights go off and no main beam or dipped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dash light stays on!!!!! I know my way around metal bits(engine) but electrics HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE SOMEONE, GOT TO GO TO GLASGOW IN 4 WEEKS AND DONT WANT TO GO TO A STEALER WHO WILL PROBABLY ONLY TELL ME I NEED A NEW LOOM. Thanks for being here c Forum

£43 plus vat each for the 2 rubbers that go at the base of the windows and stops all the water running through the door!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad: Fooking hell I nearly had a corany!!!!!!!! Got the lupo wiper arms off them though. Anyone know where to source the rubbers from a bit more reasonably priced!!!

Good question yes they are 15s. They were on the car when I bought it and all I know is that they were bought of a lupo gti and a VW with the vw center cap. look really good on her.
