  1. Thanks for the warm welcome.

If you all had to give one piece of advice to a new VR6 owner what would it be?

Make sure you have lots of spare cash to fix it when it goes wrong.

But seriously, keep the revs down until the engine oil warms up..... saves all that wear and tear. Usually keep mine below 4k rpm until it reaches 80 degrees.

Thought you might like to see pic of your car parked next to mine at the south east meet a couple of months ago.

Do you still have the same plates of did mark take them off?

  2. mr.ots, yeah cheers, I bought one the other day when they were doing the spend £50 and get a ten pound voucher thing...

I'm sure it's going to come in handy now winter is coming. Wish I had a garage to put my c in but the car cover is the next best thing I guess.

  3. The Tyvek car cover from halfrauds is very good. It was reduced from £60 to £40 but i'm not sure if that offer is still going.

The medium cover fits the c like glove. It's made from a special material made by Du pont which is breathable and waterproof. The inside is nice and soft too.

    Highly recommended

  4. whats the average price storms are going fot at the moment?

There's a classic green one on exchange and mart at the moment up for £6795 but no mileage listed. The prices vary a lot just as with any other vr but you see them going for anything between 6 - 9k depending on condition and mileage.

Update - Storm-nut has just listed his classic green on the forum's cars for sale for 6k.
