in my kef 3005se , i replaced the the centre and 2 fronts with a monitor audio soundbar, you lose a a bit of that "stereo" sound quality as the speakers arent spread as far out , but the overall quality of sound is still very good good.

is there any benefit in doing this change?, how difficult is it?

Novice question , but how does the exhaust system connect to the dub power? -
I have for sale KnuKonceptz Krystal 4 Chnl RCA Cable 4M + 2 Chnl Klarity RCA Cable 5M, i bought these too use in my install , but the head unit doesn't have RCA fly leads, so when these plug in to the back of the headunit , i cant get the headunit all the way back into the dash. these are on ebay, but if any one is interested let me know, i'll do them for 15 quid collected or 18 delivered. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=150966293856&globalID=EBAY-GB cheers Dil

trialed these today, however they foul against one another. So have ordered some new cables with compact ends.

ok all my cabling is in place, problem i have is the head unit doesn't have RCA outputs on a fly lead, but are actually connection as you would find on a home stereo, so when i plug my RCA's into the headunit and push it back in, the RCAs hit the rear which i think is the ducting for the air vents & I'm stuck. I cant be the only one that has come across this , any suggestions? cheers

great , i'll give that a go this weekend, i'll lube up the throttle cable aswell, I had assumed the accelerator was digital rather than analogue.

whats the dashpot/damper?

i'm not sure if this is how the VR6 is supposed to run, but mine tends to revup 500 revs or so when changing gear all the time & the accelerator can be a bit twitchy/jerky when coming off accelertor. this isnt all the time but it does feel like someones tapped you from behind. any ideas what potentially could be up if anything? cheers Dil

That does look good, I didn't think there would be enough depth behind the covers to mount tweeters. Will defo consider that option. Cheers

i'd prefer to flush fit them, only problem is you only get one chance to do it, so has to be right 1st time.
