hope the thieving scum bag catches that mrsa super bug or whatever its called!! i bet the f*cker only gets community service too! i think the laws surrounding the theft of cars is stupidly low sentences and fines. i was in a crash a year ago, some dick had knicked a car then smashed into us head on at 60 / 70 according to the police, he then wrote off another 5 cars in the pile up! our car was a 3 month old BMW 330ci, mum was gutted! he got...... wait for it....... 6months suspended sentence!!!!! fu+king laws and punishment are a joke these days

if its the gearing, i bet the 0-60 is amazingly fast on the scooby's!!! wonder how much of a difference it would be compared to the VR6's

yeah non standard wheels are only insured if you say to your insurance you want them to be, on my mk2 golf i rang for a quote if i was to bang on some 17's and they said they couldnt provide me with a quote, i asked if i didnt want them insuring only the car would this be ok? they said yes thats fine, thanks for telling us about the mod. cool eh!? just state that you dont wish to cover the wheels etc on your policy, i.e if they were to be stolen, its not going to result in you making a claim etc, most insurers are cool with it

im not in my corrado as iv sold the beast, but i do have a mercedes at the moment (see signature). my mercedes is an absolubt tw+t in the snow, id rather walk than drive that thing, its dam near killed me several times, slides sideways when ever it feels like it, breaks away from you with no warning, ABS is just plain useless too. park n walk!

oh yes!! christmas has slowed me down a little bit but im sure by spring ill have a vr6 in my driveway! id better had anyway, my auto boxed merc im running is cool as fu*K to look at, fast, reliable and scarily big which is cool, but i want a manual i can really throw about in the bends and feel safe that its not just going to spin out (as it does now) and bite my head off it it feels that way! still going to be keeping my merc for them times a bit of muscle is needed, and them 500 mile trips i do frequently. VR6 for some fun

my valver felt like it almost ran out at 120, still was going but that needle took ages to get past 125!

hang on, a vr6 can blow past 145 mph? didnt realise they were so quick!

ha ha that calculator link seems nonsense to me!! interesting results though, look through this form using the search and you can find other peoples 1/4's and speeds, using knowledge base you can estimate there weight. some dude has come out with 732bhp using one method of calculation and 235bhp using the other!!! all fun though eh?!

thankyou! just what i was after. ice white: like the story, iv had races like that in my corrado, although it wasnt a vr6 and that was awsome through the corners! left many a car standing ha ha these corrados do seem rather grippy, a bit more grippy than i had ever imagined, put it this way, iv not lost a corner in the dry and iv took the pi*s frankly!!!!

so how fast are raddo's then? i had a 2.0 16v and thought that it was reasonably rapid for a 2.0. whats the 0 - 60 sprint on a G60 and a VR6? well whats the sprint times on all the models? ta very much folks
