just like mine ha ha shame mine is an old lady, cant wait till i walk out of my front door and look at my VR6 corrado and my E55 sat next to each other! (this is not a pipe dream, it is in the process of happening before anyone starts taking the p!ss) hate that though, when you have two hot cars to choose between. anyone else have that problem between choosing what car shall i drive today?
-
too grown up? them E55's will smoke a ANY vr, maybe not so much in the twistys but they are seriously rapid! speed with the extra comfort and all the toys what more do you want? suppose the price tag is a bit off the scale in terms of a corrado but hey what the hell its a ///AMG!!!
-
yep very true, although some are worse than others. my merc is a 3.0, my corrado was a 2.0 and run for run on the motorway the merc wins hands down, round town though, i think the corrado was a bit better, not by much though. for the past week iv had the severe discomfort of driving a brand new bmw 1 series, 1.6 and the fuel usage was f!cking crap!!! iv had some cars the like a drink but this thing took the complete p!ss. 100 miles cost £35!!!!!!!!

wahey!!! im looking at buying a E55 this year, getting a compo pay out soon, get rid of this merc i have now and get a vr6 and all being well the E55 in the summer
-
oh yeah, if you really like a car you will forget about mpg's anyway!!
-
go for it. if your doing that many miles on the motorway, the vr will pull like a train when you need / want it too and will sit at lower revs than your tdi at any speed and i reckon once you have got over the initial 'i wanna play' feeling and settle down with your right foot, the mpg's wont be that far different!!

guess so, i havnt got the v5 so im going off the sales sheet
