  1. Tell you what though - if you do sell the C let me know! Nice colour!
  2. Don't do it Marcus!!!! You know you'll only regret it. Sure the Beemer is a tool, and probably a 'better' car to be fair, but it just isn't a rado mate.
  3. garry you should hear the beast now mate! get that 6 branch on fella :)
  4. Fek knows mate. He lives in oxford so it would have been a bit of a pain in the aerosol. I need to get it by tomorrow as the dude thats bought the Azevs wanted them today, and they're in the van (well i hope they're STILL in the van anyway) ;) I may go up this evening and stay in oxford, then go and get it first thing.
  5. I went up in the van with my mate Garry. And the van broke down just as we got to stealth! So now I have my car back at last, but the van is at stealth. And to make matters worse, there now appears to be nothing wrong with it!!!!
  6. More power is NEVER not much use mate!!! :) I see your point though. I'm going to try it in the near future. But if no NOS, what about a rear strut brace and fat anti roll bar? 300 for the pair. And something left over for her indoors :)
  7. I've got a Vibratechnics competition mount on the front mate, and I think Vince stuck with standard for the others. There doesn't really seem to be any significant movement from the engine now which is cool :)
  8. It's even more sickening in the metal Trig! Not a mark or bit of dirt on it. It's like the antithesis of mine!! :)
  9. Full Miltek system and sport cat, with a raceland 6 branch manifold. Oh my god it sounds amazing! It's hard to know exactly what's the exhaust and what's the 6 branch, but boy does it sound good. At idle the miltek sounds nice and deep and bassy - i'm not sure what the previous SS exhaust was on the car, but you couldn't really hear it at all. I didn't want something quiet like the standard exhaust, so to me this is perfect :)
  10. Nice one mate. Gonna have a go myself tomorrow. I'm a bit paranoid about spraying that degreaser all over the place though. Can I do it indiscriminately? And then you sprayed the interior cleaner over everything too? Cheers
  11. Quality :) The old bird got a fair trade-in value then! V-Power I hope? Mate you obviously clean your bay - once I've covered any important electrics, can I just spray the cleaner stuff all over? Manifold, pipework, etc?
  12. The same dude in Belgium? 115 is a bargain! Nicholas Parsons or what! And yes mate, the sound is gorgeous eh? I'm going out for a blast in a minute actually! So come on people - 115 quid for one of these beasties!!! Thats about the price of a stock DP isn't it? No brainer :)
  13. You need a 3rd one mate! A bit of a sh*tter that you can use during the winter. Or is that what the Rado is for?? ;)
  14. Nice :) I'm gonna whip the plastic cover off tomorrow and cable tie the leads out the way. Then spend a couple of hours giving it a scrub. Charger? Skint as fek now. I just sold my eldest daughter to pay for the new coilies mate! :)
  15. Have you got a bigger pic of yours so I can see where you've put your leads mate? My eyes aren't what they used to be.
  16. Go on Shaun.... Come along with your spanky bleedin bay and make mine look like a heap of old junk! ;)
  17. Quick pic of the engine bay - I need to spend some time cleaning it up and get rid of the plastic cover on the right, but it's getting there...... Stan - not sure if 'smooth' is the right word for it. It feels really lovely and new yes, but not really smooth. It's very throaty because of the 6 branch and miltek. Sounds great :) I imagine the cams take away a bit of the smoothness (?) but that was never my goal to be honest dude. The new coilies have removed ANY remaining trace of civility anyway - not really a comfort biased car tbh, although I do have leather and air-con ;) Now I just have to sit-out the running in period before I can really feel and hear the beast :)
  18. Absolutely :) Now I just to 'introduce' the GF to the new suspension :) EDIT: Just been out again and realised there is almost zero pitch (or is it dive?) under braking - even hard braking! The Clubsports keep the car almost totally flat. Nice :)
  19. Yeah mine is really too hard for 'only car' use. It would p*ss me off all the time. But I pootle around in a diesel van all day, and have the blue vr which is on standard slush puppie suspenders, so I deliberately went for some over the top hardcore action :) I keep going for a spin for no reason! :)
  20. They're the same Bilsteins are they Kev? They're mahoosive!! :) And I've got 570 lb springs on the front! As soon as the kids got in this morning, my eldest daughter said.... 'the car's very bumpy today Dad' ;)
  21. There are still some Mission amps kicking around at large discounts. Very unique sound for car hi-fi, but gorgeous all the same. Bout time I got an amp really.
  22. Got my H&R RSS Clubsports fitted yesterday......... HOLY SH*T!!! :) Seriously hardcore!! They are pretty mad - biggest piston I've ever seen on any suspension set up ever! They must be over an inch in diameter! They are obviously EXTREMELY hard as the spring rates are way up there, but amazingly the ride is pretty good in general except over sharp potholes etc. But I have to say it's the first time I have ever felt suspension actually pressing the tyres into road. It's quite wierd to be honest! And it goes round corners like an absolute Mo Fo!! :) If you want comfort, steer clear though ;)
  23. I got a raceland one off ebay for 130 quid and it is the absolute nuts for the money. The quality looks pretty good to me. And it sounds amazing!! :) There is a Belgian dude selling them on ebay with the 'best offer' option. Offer him 130 and he should be sweet. He was with me. Not too shabby for 130 quid........
