Well, I finally found some time to work on it a little bit. It isn't ready for download yet. Still a couple of sizing issues to work out, but you can chek it out here: http://www.mycorrado.com/font.html It now has numbers, Caps and some symbols - ,.;:'" I have modified almost everything trying to match known letters from other VW badges of the era. If there are any obvious changes you can see, let me know and drop me an image of the correct letter on an authentic VW badge. I just dropped this same post on the Vortex. Let me know what you think.

stevemac - You guys can use it anywhere you want. beeftech - Download the zip file. Unzip it and drop the ttf file into your fonts directory in the windows or winnt folder on your system or any other system and it should install it automatically. Then just pick corrado lower from the font list in word and you're ready to go. You should be able to see it in any software that allows you to select a font.... Let me know if you have problems. You can even use it in a screen saver that uses text.

Thanks. Let me know what you'd change on any of the letters if anything. If you up-size the "c" you can get really close to the actual badge look. I can't believe nobody else has made one before.

Not a problem at all. I just want people to know where to go when I end up finishing the font - if it ever happens...

Man that was fast. I barely placed the link on vwvortex an hour or so ago. I designed this thing. Check it out. http://mycorrado.com/font.html download direct from here if you want. http://mycorrado.com/corradofont.zip Again this is homemade. Not the actual font from VW

Like many Corrado nuts, I wanted to find the "corrado" font when I bought my first Corrado. No dice. It's like computers didn't exist when they designed the logo or something. Anyways. I started designing this shortly thereafter. http://www.xnology.com/c.ttf --- I have found from VWvortex users that it doesn't always work on mac's - sorry. Enjoy! Let me know if the link is broken.

Thank you! I hope that these numbers are not very accurate however, as my stock G60 is putting out around 12 psi and my new one is pushing a ton more yet the number displayed is not much different. It feels like twice the car - easily.
-
Cool. Thanks to for all the help! I am new to the Corrado family and there is a lot to learn about these little devils!

Where can I find the buying guide? I would hope that those numbers are not correct. The G60 was worked over by BBM and has a 68mm double wide pully and their numbers say it should be between 17-20 psi. This car goes like stink! My 1st G60, chipped, with a stock charger can't come close to my new one. What boost are they supposed to put out standard?

I downloaded the MFA #'s from one of the posts on the forum to check my boost. My car idles at between 75 and 81 after the little hold in -shut off - restart - release - press one time procedure. Not the 450 - 800 listed in the posts. My highest boost reading was 231 in third gear at 6K RPM. Not in the range listed in the posts (anywhere from 200 for negative boost to 2200 for 17+ psi). My car is extremely quick and puts out loads of boost, but I need to know if anyone here has knowledge of a UK/US conversion factor for the MFA #'s listed out here.

I will see if I can get the motor out this weekend to check it.

My 1st '90 G60 is developing a nasty whine on cold mornings. When I defrost/demist the window The car has to be very very very well warmed up (like until spring arrives) before I can use the blower at any setting 1-4. After the car is warmed to the blowers's liking, It is okay until I turn hard left and the whine returns like a banshee! I have to wait until I am no longer turning and turn off the motor and turn it back on again to get rid of the shrill. I am selling the car because I bought my new toy - another '90 G60. I need to figure this out, but I now have time as my 1st G60 was tagged by a delivery truck in my work's parking area two days ago. http://www.vsm-tech.com/wrecked Any ideas? I have assumed it would be bearings, but I wouldn't know where to start to fix them.

Blick code? I haven't come across that yet.

Bad luck for me. There is only a single 2 wire connecter under my shift boot.

Thanks for the info.

From everything I've read here and elsewhere, it looks like I can't run a VAG COM connector on my new G60. I have another '90 G60 with ABS and it seems it has the right connections to work with VAG COM, but I want to get rid of it because it --HAS ABS--!!! They seem to be a little sketchy as far as dependability.
