hello i currently have a momo steering wheel and boss but want to change the wheel am i right in saying that any momo wheel will fit onto my momo boss? or do they change?

mike im not sure yet but the mods i wanna do extra to the corrado are enough to but me the bam engine & a bit more I will phone up qpeng when i get a chance and have a proper chat with them as I will also then be getting the reliability off a new car in my favourite looking car cant be too bad can it! oh and 270bhp lol! but i think i may miss the G if someone has a 1.8turbo at the rr'day or something i may ask if they wanna swap for 5mins and see how the 1.8 feels in a c!

yeah it is a pre 92" already had exhaust done just need new manifold! plus had clutch done last year so dont need a new one yet! im defo looking at £3k then i will update this after my chat with qpeng and the bloke im buying the engine from.

this doesnt have too much relevance but my g seems to sit better and be quieter at 100 than 80-

no mk2 it doesnt come with ancillaries thats just for the engine its a low mileage audi 225 bam engine that includes a 20'000 mile warranty & delievery so how much you think i need to budget realistically! i need to also allow a few hundred for painting the bay while she's in getting the engine fitted! i am going to give q-peng a ring tomorrow lunch time this will give me a better figure no doubt!

what the clocks and key from my g60 gazza? when you say stand alone do you mean like the mega squirt set up or would i be able to take it down to darren and get a custom re-map! i know i can you use the same gearbox and clutch! also when you say make up the loom i wouldnt have a clue how to do this could i buy one?

Hi lads ive just got a price for a low mileage 225bhp audi 1.8 20v turbno BAM engine. But its just the engine can anyone tell me how much the running gear will cost i take i would need ecu wirring loom clocks and key? thanks andy

why is it hard mike? also one other thing milling over in my mind to is that! i want to get a FMIC, S.N.S 5.5 chip and some red tops fitted by darren in the summer! now was thinking of possibly selling the G60 engine & going for a 1.8T conversion?? what you all think? give darren a ring me thinks?

hi all just a little update a few styling/performance mods i was planning to do have been put on hold the last few weeks as the C is having a few probs and some ancillaries changed! last week I have changed wheel bearing not the full problem have to do the wheel bearing and CV Joint, a big thanks to aide on sunday we fitted the new BBM solid front engine (in the freezing cold) the old mount was starting to get quite a bit of play in it! also last week got the pas belt done! took the carbon cannister out but have just capped it at mo! Now this week the water pump is gone so have ordered up the new one! and i could do with some new pads all round so this needs to be done too! never ending hey! ok so update and rag at the C over! so the few little things i have planned have been put on hold! they were to put some new rear lights on and get a few scratches done at the bodyshop wanted to get done before rr day but not gonna happen now!

hi saw 2 c's yesterday one black rado K711 NTL at highbury college portsmouth and silvery grey one at fratton train station how was it the black one was a tidy bit of kit!

good thread lads im going to give darren a ring and have a chat! as i want to get FMIC, S.N.S 5.5 chip and red top injectors which will cost a fair bit of money now after reading this thread! im thinking of selling the g60 engine adding the extra money for the other jobs i got planned for summer! and going for the 225bhp lump! whats is the torque on these engines? cheers andy p.s also from reading this thread am i right in saying its easier to do this conversion than a 24v v6 swap!

hi lads first chance to have a good look at my coolant leak not losing a shed load of water but enought its coming from the just near the pas belt any ideas heres the pics you can see the pas belt and sump! Anyone know where its coming from? thanks Andy

i love my G60 thats all i can say i plan to spend some bucks on her! ive only had 4months but shes a beast and love driving her!
