hi all I had gmax springs and shocks on my golf 8v and i actually thought that handled very well that was dropped 40mm on 17's with a 40mm tyre profile! the ride was very hard thou! on the G60 i have KONI coilovers which i think still havent been set up right but when i have got the rear shelves of to ajust the dampening etc ill let you all know! but they do react very well to differing road conditions and the dampening is very effective

i like the vr too but like jim says could be a few problems

Hi lads does anyone know where I can get this panel from at the bottom of the engine as mine is quite rusty! just to say i nicked this pic from shilkadaddy's gallery hope you dont mind me using it! basically its the black metal panel at the bottom of the engine bay? Thanks Andy

yeah i just got one from my local steelers and its about £60 but when i return the old one i get some money back YAH!

shaggsy is that for vag pads and discs or different? and how many hours labour they charging you for because if it like 2hrs then that will prob £60 or more so then its £90 for pads and discs i beilieve the pagid fast road pads from gsf are about £38ish and can remeber but brmbo discs @ £48 rings a bell! so its not way over the top i dont think

hello mate darren who has posted earlier is the best for hauling over the g-lader! im sure he'd also mail order it to you if you took it off and sent it to him!

darren says he thinks mine might be the thermostat housing too so gonna get it over too him as need to sort it before stealth RR day

Hi lads my wheel bearing keeps going i've been told that the shaft or whatever it sits on is heavily worn on one side and idea's? As I really dont know what it is at mo? Cheers Andy

yes mate this is what i was thinking of having piece of mind and trusting your car so you can push it and you know its not going to go bang is good! when i've worked a few things out and fixed a few little silly problems I have now! i will have a clearer idea of how much i need to spend etc! to get my desired power level cheers for help though matey loving your car its something to aim for where i want my engine by the end of the summer!

mike have you still got your s.n.s chip?? when you say to meet your needs for the custom re-map when i get my FMIC, red tops would i just be better getting a custom re-map or a S.N.S? Im gonna have to really start saving though or get a loan as when i do this i defo think it will be worth getting charger done as she's got 12k on her now since last rebuild!
