And then a couple years later you rip it to bits to sling a R32 in!

2.0 16v all the way! Despite what the VR-boys say, they are economical if you are pootling about, they just start drinking heavily over 4000rpm... I average about 30MPG which considering a lot of that's done in E-London in traffic... as well as blatting up M11/25 ... isn't really too bad! I can see an average of 35-6MPG on a run from London, through traffic and then up the "Private test track" (ave 80-90) to club and back. And with the 15l tank I see between 350-400 miles, The least return I've seen from a Tank in mixed driving, London/M-way/Spirited post 4k driving, has been just over 300miles. As for insurance, who the hell pays out a decent wedge for a good Rado then only insures it TPFT? :cuckoo:

Ok if you're at club Thursday will have a look (feel) might shed some more light...

Gav, what make was the clutch? Could be a cheap one that's slightly out of true and will bed in as Mic says..

MAS's (and sell me the MO's!) I'll thrown in "MO's in Satin Black"!
-
Assuming the 17's are 7.5 and ET35 then you'll be fine... When I was on the LM's mine was on 60mm dropeed springs then coilies (with about a 70mm drop) and were fine, no scrubing... (apart from the inner front arches at full lock! )

Ahem :ignore:  Yeah Bill Hate your Blackberry on RS's  But you know what I mean by "Just" Rs's?
-
Zak, sorry to say this (applies flame suit) but car's taken a step back on the RS... not because of the colour combo, which I kind of like, just because of the fact they are RS... The CH's really suited the car and were different, the RS's well they are "Just" RS's (dives for bomb bunker)... :| You mentioned Merc wheels though? :?

Denmark! -
Jords, if you want the best... Search for Bernard Newbury!

Just to add to this I found best way to fill via the header tank was to use an old plastic coke bottle with a hole in the cap, means it fills slowly enough to avoid air-locks and you can leave it "stood" in the tank's neck while it drains... saves aching arms!

Doesn't VAG-CAT show where it goes?

2 words... Nanny State or Gordon Brown :bad-words: Buckinghamshire's done this pretty much cross county... not many national speed limits left... My folks live in a tiny cul-de-sac of 6 houses, and the council put a 30 limit sign at the top! Even in a super-car you couldn't get to 30 and stop in time, frikking pointless! And don't get me started on the number of pointless road signs that have sprung up in Aylesbury lately! :bad-words:

Moog: a Synthesisier or a dog-like animal who lives in Doyley Woods?

Note sure Baby pink's your colour Jimbo! :epicfail:

http://www.fixmystreet.com/ Apparently linked to all the local councils... report a road and they come fix it fairly quickly... one of our club members reported a hole and it was fixed next day!
-
Heat and then something like A-Glumm bumper care (looks like sont!) works well... They have faded because the oils in teh plastics have leached out over time... so a case of replacing them, bit of an "Over time" process... Or try this: Black Wow heard good things, is quite pricy but a little goes a long way...

Not to mention a G-lader... :ignore:
