Wing Mirror Drivers side. Ice Grey Violet. 536 857 502

A lot of views in a week and no interest. Is it the preferred local collection that is putting people off? Now with free mainland UK postage if it sells this week at full price. -
As above. £25. Local pick up preferred. South side of Glasgow or Hillington. Slight peeling of mirror on bottom right corner and a few scuffs on paintwork(see pictures).

Original ebay link seems to have been removed now. Try this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1311&_nkw=keychain+camera&_sacat=0&_from=R40

I can not be tempted lol

Well, it's been a few years since I've been in here and thought I'd come back on and see what's been happening. Still some projects on the go from when I was last here. Good to see they haven't been abandoned and left to rot. Since I sold my Corrado, I've bought a 52 plate Passat Estate - Now written off, a Yamaha Thundercat - Now stolen, and currently a Lupo GTi - Now in the driveway with the head off it changing the piston rings etc. Not had much luck in the transport department you might say lol. Anyhoo. I'll be off to have a snoop around (must avoid the classifieds) and see how the Corrado scene has developed over the years. Cheers, Graeme

How old are your tyres and have you been driving the car a lot? I remember I had spare tyres in the garage that had been sitting for a couple of years. Almost brand new when taken off my old car but sat in the cold. When I put them on the G60 (back) I had to tiptoe round corners or roundabouts when the road was even a tad moist or else the back end would just overtake me. Got new tyres on and was perfect after that. HTH

Mid-engined V10? :notworthy: Do it!!!!

Drooooooool! Bonkers car. The kind of thing you'd sketch as a child. Would love one.

Must be one seriously rich buyer http://www.bornrich.org/entry/single-bu ... supercars/ Yes, you read that correctly.
-
I thought you had to have at least one on the drivers side to pass an MOT IIRC.
-
Just sell it mate. Some things are more important than an ageing coupe. You can always get another one further down the line if/when funds allow. In some respects I do miss my G60 but on the other hand my Passat gives me 45 to the gallon easily and the money saved on fuel/tax can go toward things like food etc.

Tempted to go for a chim myself but not sure I could justify using it as a daily. Going from a tdi passat estate to a 4/4.5/5 litre V8 might increase my fuel bill a tad. 2 of my friends had Chimeras and had very few (if any) issues with them. One of them was going to trade up to a Cerb but bought a house instead and just got rid of the TVR completely.

Just spotted this story on http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default ... ryId=21250 good news for the factory workers and local community in Osnabruk.

New series of TOP GEAR Sundays. Series Comments
biggrim replied to The_Dude's topic in General Car Chat
I thought Sundays was one of the best so far. Was literally rolling about the floor when DC hit Jezza in the peas with the F1 paintball gun! I was also quite impressed with the Noble M600 too. Looked much better than in all the pictures I've seen and sounded amazing. Also, not too slow round the track. Worth £200k? Not convinced but then it doesn't matter to me cause I've not got £200 to spend on a car at the moment. -
Roddy aka vr6storm from up Aberdeen used to have one. Loved it to bits, then the missus found out how expensive it was to run etc and it got punted IIRC. Might be worth giving him a shout.

Spotted C12 ADO, black VR6 with twin tailpipes at the traffic lights outside sainsbury in Hayes. Just heading back to Glasgow after a couple of nightshifts in sunny London. Looked quite tidy. I was in the black merc vito and you won't have spotted me.

Glad to hear that you're happy with it matey. Married life not so great but that's a different story altogether. Not to worry eh? Try not to think about problems with the car until they happen. You always tend to hear horror stories on the net more than it's going perfect stories lol. Good luck for the big day mate. July will be here before you know it and it'll be a fantastic day. Sorry for the hijack there. Meanwhile, back at the ranch!

Looks nice Glenn. How is the drive etc compared to the Corrado? I've used the DSG on a company diesel before and it was pretty awesome. Was tempted myself into a TT but I think my next purchase will be an R33 GTR since I've always wanted one.
-
Would this be my old Black G60 matey? I wondered what happened to it after you took it back home. What have you been doing with it for the past year and a bit? (Sorry for the thread Hi-jack).
-
I can't offer you any advice mate but I do have an ice grey violet tailgate in my dads garage if you're interested?
-
Did Jay Renshaw not have these fitted to his Corrado when he was building it? Think his username is 24vrenshaw thesedays.

Passat Estate for me mate. I've got a 52 plate 1.9TDi sport with a remap and it's about 180bhp and getting 50ish MPG on the motorway. Can't fault it. Snowboards, the dog, bikes and stuff (with the back seats down). Just eats stuff up.

I just had the filter fitted and ran the pipe to the bottom of the engine bay and never had any issues. I was going to get a custom catch tank made up but never ever got round to it.

Lol! The joys of the iPhone matey. Anyone on here? Could it be stormcharged's?
