Does anyone know what size the little screws are that hold the mirror together. You have to remove the glass to get to them. I took my mirrors apart to paint them and have lost the screws .look like they could be m2 or 3

my local stealers extremely knowlegeable and helpful parts dept helped me when i first got my 16v as i was getting mixed messages re what to put in my power steering as vw have 2 methods, if the reservoir cap is Red (as mine is)then you should used ATF fluid, if Black then use power steering fluiid

i just did my 1.816v samco kit off ebay and madeup the hose from the end of the block to the heater bypass valve ( this hose had burst and is now unavailable from vag) i will be doing the others when i have time as i only changed them 6 months ago. for info for the end of block hose i used sfs hoses 25-19mm 90deg reducer bend , an alloy straight coupler and a 19mm 45deg bend to thr bypass valve then another 19mm 45deg bend to the heater matrix hope that helps someone, i intend to join the 2 leftover hoses (the horseshoe one will need to be shortened) to make one from the expansion tank to the metal pipe

are early / late parts interchangable . can i replace my damaged early bumper with a late one and swap the early lights over?

its on a 1.8 16v if that makes much difference?

I have the weitec VR kit with the c&R comfort kit , i think the ride is just right i wouldnt say its harsh at all

red cap- red ATF D2 fluid Black cap - green fluid mines got a red one and it tells you on it what to use

can anyone tell me the min ET i can run on my 16v ? i fancy a sert of audi wheels(possibly TT) but im not sure if they will fit as i will need 4x100-5x100 adapters i would be looking to use 205 or maybe 195 tyres cheers

am i correct i thinking the mk3 golf matrix is a direct fit but without the weekness of the corrado one making the duff pressure valve redundant, or should i just change the pressure valve?

some cars have the green fluid (black cap on reservoir) others have ATF fluid (red cap) Gsf only list the green so did the dealer but when i insisted they double check they agreed with me that my 1990 16v should have ATF in it , if you look on the red cap it does say ATF

yes the hardest bit was straightening the fraME WHERE SOME LITTLE t~~~SER stuck his screwdriver in just take your time

just had to renew mine after some S#*t nicked my sterio . was worth all of £5 the rubbers have a thin strip of adhesive (double sided tape?) that sticks it down on the inside of the door bit fiddly getting it in the correct position but the window channekl holds it in from the outside , sounds like yours may have a tear got my new original rubber from GPC about £50

when i got my corrado 6 months ago the spoiler worked fine then my son was showing his mate how it goes up/down/up/down...... on the swich and now it doesnt i have checked the fuses but they seem fine are there any in line fuses or could i be looking in the wrong fuse my car is a 1990 16v but the handbook is for a later car maybee the fuseboxchanged? any ideas where to start would be great

i have Phillips vision plus from powerbulbs in the corrado and vento corrado (1990 16v) has H4 dipped , H3 Main , H3 fogs
