Looking good mate, cream leather looks real nice in dbp coloured corrados.
Was it much of a job getting your hubs redrilled to 5x112?, im thinking of doing the same to mine, are you using m12 size bolts?, is there much metal left on the ouside of hubs?
-
Having it smooth difinately looks better, but you will risk having people opening there doors and marking/denting yours, maybe paint the strips body colour instead?
-
The abs rotors fit to the back of the hubs not the brake disc
-
Nice to see you back rams, its been years!
-
I've owned asim's old corrado now for two years, check out my gallery.
Nice car btw Chris

Foster,
Havent been to tidy vag yet, keep on meaning to go, do you go?, is it last sunday of each month?
Jay,
Sure has been a long time, hope things are cool with you, going back to a rado eh, cant wait to see what your going to do to it!, any clues?, would be good to hook up sometime.

They are a nightmare to keep shiny, they come off every winter to get part stripped and machine polished, the mirror finish lasts about 2 weeks after putting them back on, i liquid polish them fairly regular when they are on the the car but that doesent really maintain a mirror finish.
Where abouts are you from then are you local?
-
No, these pics were taken back in march, the zw1s are back on now, only just got round to putting these pics up,
The wheels are keskin kt4 8x17 with 215/35/17 dunlop sp sport maxx tyres, love this tyre size, althou more expensive, they look so much better than 205/40/17

A few pictures i took a few months back with my winter wheels on.
Asim, sorry for the late reply, your welcome to come and see the car, just let me know.
-
3 years and still goingWe were under the impression you just used fibreglass and filler, so you decided the weild them after all, what made you change your mind?
-
Cool, where did you get the dye from?, did they have to colour match it for you?, what about the vinyl parts of the interior are they dyeable?
-
Well done, looks like a very good job, infact the seats look brand new in the photos, Its something i want to do to my front cream recaros, but cant decide weather to get it done profesionally or do it myself, is it a very hard job?
-
Very nice, was the leather refurbed or retrimed?
-
I'll take a photo for you.
It seems like the sp9000 has been discontinued, althou the sp maxx is a simarlar tyre.
-
VERY nice indeed, those wheels totally suit it.Quick query though....looking at the one with the door open, do all corrado's have the same dimpled sill protector with corrado embossed into it, I can't remember mine having it, but I haven't seen it properly for ages :(
Pretty sure all corrado's have them.
-
I think only 3 companies make 215/35/17s continental, pirelli and dunlop, I went for the the dunlop sp9000s

Thanks for the nice comments, the car is in toatally different league to my previous 2 corrados, wish i'd havent even bought them and just waited for this one, would of saved myself a shed load of cash!!
Yes they are rh zw1's, 8.5x17 all round with 215/35/17 tyres, coilovers are fk silverline x, very pleased with them, there as good, if not better than the koni coilovers i had on my last corrado.

Here are a few pics of how it looks now, not really that pleased with the photos, the sun was'nt out!

These how to guides are great. Mods...these guides should be "stickyed"
-
Ill get back to you with a price i need to polish them first thou, never ran the 9.5s on my rado they were too wide they were only on the wheels when i bought them , i did run 9s on it thou but i've got a vr6 now, with the track being slightely wider, i've decided to go 8.5s all round, which pair are you intesrested in, the ones that make the wheel 9"?
-
Yes, just matz do them and superlite wheels, and i would expect image do them aswell, there arround £120 each thou.
I have some dishes that came off my zw1s, i have a pair that make the wheel 9" wide and a pair that make the wheel 9.5" wide, let me know if your interested in them.

Pictures would be good if you dont mind, I have a couple of pictures of zaks hubs, he had a ring pressed on to the outside of his hubs, im guessing yours are pretty simalar to his
Im having trouble finding somewhere to do the work on my hubs, having the hubs drilled is not the problem i dont think, its having the ring fitted thats causing the problem, ive asked voodoo motorsport and g23 engineering, both known for wheel redrills and hub redrills, both are unable to help.
Can i ask you where you had yours done?
Cheers
James.
