    I'm looking at hot air guns on the net, what is the temp needed to melt/weld? Im looking at ones with 600 degrees.

    do you think there is any need for plastic rods?
  4. spray the outside..use loads masking tape. there is a guide on here somewhere. try the knowledge base if it still works

  6. If you got the same as me. I had to smash a bayonet bulb, seperate the two wires from the element. pick up your led and pull away the 4 wires till they point up then you need to grab you bulb and twist around the wires till they are pretty tidy so you got 2 wires onto the 1 on the bulb to make double sure solder them then I used to electical tape to tidy it up and make it more sturdy Have you bought resistors?

  9. this is next on my list, dont think there are any aftermarket ones. I'm looking at solenoids and smoothing over the original :shrug:

    hi again, how much did you pay for the plastic welding on the rear bumper, as in labour x time etc? just looking to price this up I deffo want to do it
  14. got these sorted aswell now with resistors fitted. was a bit of an effort to fit boyonets :grin: to my leds but all is good now :clap:
  15. thanks for your help guys, I sorted it now with a new hose and flexi copper pipe. Excellent now, with the new calipers pistons etc..
  16. that cooper head is not budging. I thought that its should unscrew from looking at the EKTA parts-site. I'll have to keep trying with it

  19. I'm looking for some help with my rear brakes. They are standard. The replaced the pads and caliper today no problems but noticed a something seeping out from the fluid hose. Its still coming out now. Should the hose be able to come away from where I indicated in the pic or is it a solid piece that screws into it? cheers for any tips urget help please
  20. I think i'll get the bbs one day :wink: my porka rims will do for now. When I get my pics up of how it looks now, you'll see its not as low as in the photoshop but the coils aren't all the way down yet.. :D
  21. I was ment to do some today but I went to work and the car is still very dirty. I going to use my grandad's posh camera sunday and get some good pics up sunday evening hopefully :grin:

    I got a rear bumper thanks anyway. Now anybody got any info on the process of welding them togeather, I spoke to somebody today and they mentioned plastic welding and it seemed fairly straightforward
