fitted the pump today, came with all the seals to. Will they take back a pattern part? because the one I took off deffo isn't VAG. PS I think my main problem was the 8 inch of blockage in the hose from the bottom of the expansion tank which increased the pressure but a new vag pump fitted anyways. The blockage literally looked like a huge turd lol

no its plugged in i checked it when looked at the bulbs

I think I need to get a new waterpump fitted. Anybody use vwspares.co.uk are these Febi items any good? I could get a VAG one but I need to pay surcharge untill I get the old back to them. dunno if I can manage that on top of the new coolant, and other bits. cheers

Ive kinda tried searching but failed to get a straight answer. Got high temps again right now but I hope its straight forward. The fan doesnt seem to be coming on except when I get home and finished drivng. I have recently fitted a neuspeed temp switch so it should come on sooner, it did come on for some reason after pulling out the plug on the blue sensor on the oil cooler? The hoses, especially top one are very hard and hot. Might It need a new water pump? I dont know when it was done last. or simply the stat? Thanks all:afro:

its silly how light the carbon is. thinking about binning the rear seats but as its a daily not too sure, the 3.5inch exhaust is pretty loud already lol. Dunno what the deal is with this car, its some kinda daily light weight track thing, I need to make my mind up.

cheers jake anything would be an improvement from what was on there, it had a load of lacquer peel. this one is clean and smoothed, with no washer jets

Still havent fitted the cams but got plans to do it next week during a bit of a mini service. Ive not updated for a while, so here are some recent pics, Ive bought some spacers, a new wheel and more excitingly a carbon fibre bonnet which I think looks coool. Pic taken literally after a 300mile drive so car is covered in bugs, lol / please ignore amber indicators i keep forgetting to change them
