When I sold my RS Turbo I had mails like this a couple of times. Most were from people in Africa wanting me to ship the car to them & they would pay on delivery. Proper scam!

Might be interested in just a rear box for my G60: this tail pipe if you can get it & the price is right.

The guy that owns the place is an honest guy, if it only takes him 3 hours, I trust him to charge me that. As I said above, I'm getting the wheel bearing done 2, so it will be a little more. Should be picking it up after work. Wiill find out the damage then :( But I get to give it a ripping :) so it's not all bad 8)

Are the gear boxes from the 2.8 & 2.9 any different? If so what? & what's the one to have?

Well I know absolutely nothing about the conversion, so where to start would be a good idea. Would like to know bad things to watch for, as well as good things. dark - black/blue/green corrado on the back of truck this morning (16/02/04) on the M4 about 7.30 around J10 west bound. Looked nice, big shiney rims. Took a pic on my phone, but it didnt come out 2 good. t did look very similar to Nik Patel's

Na, it's the front wheel bearing mate. I need the car back on the road like, yesterday!! I won't have time to do it myself till the weekend earliest! It is around £300 for the clutch. It's the labour that is the killer there. He's quoted me high I think. But I trust the garage> It gives me peace of mind that it's going there, rather than putting it in somewhere I don't know & worry if some little scrote is tearing about in it.

I was on my way up to Jabba on Friday for a 20k service & a few other bits. Been on the road for about an hour. As I changed gear I said to my mate, oh that didn't sound right!! Stopped at the services and drove round in the car park - car now making some expensive noises!! :( :mad: - I'm thinking *&%k!! this is all I need. Being Closer to Jabba than home I carried on going. Got there had the service, they looked at my clutch - and yes as expected :cry: it's about to give up! 80LL0x!! I managed to get me home after that.... just! after taking it very easy on the way back. (couldn't even give it some to see how it went after the tune up!!!) So off down the garage Sat morning for a quote. I have a wheel bearing that's just started to play up, so figure it's a good time to have that done 2 - the expected price is going to be in the reigon of £400 + VAT :( Not a good month!! I've already put 2 tyres on it (approx £200) & the Servive etc (£350) and now this!!! :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: Look out people!!! There will be one crisp corrado coming out of the garage this week driving like new!!!

What do you have on there as your daily runners? I dont have a monitor....was looking down the end of the wire. Matrix stylee That could be where your going wrong mate 8)

stick some nice wheels on it & you have a nice car 8)

Turn the brightness up on your monitor mate, or take your sunglasses of :) 8)

Yeah that sounds like the sort of think I think I might have to go for in the end mate. My boost gauge I have matches my clocks which is a plus. I just didn't want to put a hole in the dash. :?

Still not got you a dirty pic yet bally :lol: I keep getting people at work asking me if i wash it every day LOL Might be somethiing to do with me parking it next to my mates RS that he hasn't cleaned for about 2 months (before all the snow :shock: ) I'll have to get a pic of that, it's one of the dirtiest cars I have ever seen - and it's actualy very good condition car........... when it is clean :roll:
