I've just looking on ebay for a possible replacement gear knob & gaiter for the G. I wondered if another VW or Audi gear knob & gaiter would fit the corrado?? If so, anyone have any pic's? I quite like the all in one jobbies. Something like this Passat one would be perfect

I would be interested to see how a remapped 1.8T golf goes. That's what I'm thinking about getting next. Ideally I like it to be faster than my G60, but I'm not sure it will. There seems to be a huge gap between mine & a std 1.8T

Thanks very much for the offer mate. I think I'm going just take her up to GSF tonight. They should be able to do supply what evers needed there. She'll not be able to wait to get it fixed, she wants it done yesterday! Bloody women! :shock: :wink:

I'll have to check it myself later, there no point asking her, it will only confuse her! Did the replacement Renault mirror have much attached to it on the back? The mrs says that there seems to be nothing behind where the mirror was. She says she has been quoted about £75 for a whole new wing mirror!

The Mrs has & 02 Clio, someone's hit her wing mirror this morning & the glass his completely come out - Am I right in thinking this will rule out a quick fix with a halfords stick on jobbie? If so, is it likely a whole new wing mirror will have to be bought? (it's not electric btw) Or can you just get an original replacement? Not had a chance to look at it obviously as it only happen this morning. Thanks

mine does it, I haven't done the pump yet, but I don't think it is it. I have done the sensor. I have noticed it does it coming down the revs at 2250rpm once the cars up to running temp - anyone else get this??? Doesn't seem to be effecting the car at all performance wise. Also where's the best place to attach an oil pressure gauge? engine side obviously!

a lot of the time is stables it's self. It's just every now & then, mostly when cold the idle drops & then tries to compensate & then drops again and so on. Never enough to stall, just enough to be annoying!
