Quick question. The oil filler cap - should there be a rubber seal on the bottom of it?

It was MOT time this weekend. I've never been so sure about one of my cars passing, and................................... :? ....... :D It passed!! It's always a good felling when you get through your MOT unscaved! 8)

£1800 on my RS turbo at 19. Good days, had some real fun in both my RST's. Cheaper to run than my G60 2!! And that was inc breaking 3 gearboxes!

huumm! Interesting! All my pads are the more meat kind. The fronts could be a bit low, but have no sensors?? Another job for the weekend ay! Cheers Henny

You could go really fast & then brake really hard. If it skids, it's not working! ;) When you did the conversion, did the light come straight on, or has it only just started doing it?

LOL! no worries mate. I can't remember for the life of me what was on the number plate. Do you have a private plate? It could of had one I think.

This morning I tried to get my oil light to come on, and found it only seemed to come on at 2250rpm. Just out of interest, thoughs of you that have the same spooky problem, when does yours come on? I drove the car just the same as before & then after just avoided 2250rpm & it didn't come on???

Yes, but the handbrake light is only within the last 2 weeks. I will try & get one the weekend. Also, something else that happens, is when I put my lights/stereo on the oil temps go up? But if I turn all the electrics off, it goes back to normal. Nothing spooky going on with the water temps though. All looks fine there. That's defiantly an electrical fault, the car runs fine. Just out of interest. How much does a set of clocks go for? Also (though illegal) is there anywhere I could get my miles put on it?

I've been thinking along the same lines. I've had the handbrake connetors off, linked them out & nothing. Will investigate the weekend

Right, I've tried a few things now and the lights still on. The switch on the actual handbrake it's self isn't making any difference. I don't have wires going to the callipers to tell me if the pads are low, and the brake fluid level is fine. The cars braking is tip top. Puzzled a bit.........?? :?
