The Garmin Nuvi 310D from halfrauds is good too. Free FM traffic updates for life but is only trafficmaster info so its not the best service (blue cameras on side of road give the info so ok on main roads but nothing on roads without the cameras) Still charge for speed cameras but go to http://www.pocketgpsworld.com and its about £19 for the year

I have Focal and its nice. If you want a nice big sub you can have my old Kicker Solobaric S15L7. Its a 15" square speaker, duel voice coils and can take 2000W of power. got me 138.9Db at a sound off in my old 206 and that was not quite at full power!! Yours for just £150 but you have to get your own ear plugs!! Just fits in the boot but fills a lot of it!!

How do I find it and has it changed over the life of the VR6? i.e. will a 94 one fit my 95?
-
I like it, but then I did own a volvo 480 once!!

slats replied to daves16v's topic in Suppliers Forum
worked a treat. Bit stiff but I think my door needs adjusting a bit as if you push the door in a bit it opens smoother. -
So its been an odd couple of days. In the really cold of the last two days it works fine untill the car warms up and then when driving it comes back on!! I will try to get it scanned but am up to eyeballs in kitchen at the moment. I may ask the chap in Reading to use his as I need to go there on friday. /searches for post of VAGCOM owners :)

OK, I give up trying to get a set of passat handles so can I have a drivers side one please. PM me details and I will paypal the dosh :) -
Or your bird borrows the car and dosent think as she is too excited about getting some shoes!!
-
Oh and there is no flicker when starting from cold
-
When the car is cold the light comes on straight away and stays on. If I start after a journey then most times it flickers and then goes off. Anyone had the same and fixed it??
-
Anyone fitted a lights on alarm? I would like one that is more of a bing than a buzzer (like the one in fords). Any ideas?

I have the Garmin nuvi 310D from Halfrauds and only got it there as for the money (£299) you get a full Europe CD, 256Mb memory Card and a FM traffic reciever which is not as good as the TomTom info but is free for life. Traffic updates work well though and hopefully the info will get better. It normally finds the satalites within a few seconds and the routes it does are good and even takes some of the shortcuts I do. Does have a few routes that I think are a bit longer but it bases the route on the speed of the road and dosent take into account that if you go another way it may have a much more fun road to burn down!!!
