KInda wishing I hadn't read this thread now... :( Got a mobile windscreen fitter coming out to replace my windscreen on Friday afternoon... Wish me luck!

Gamer 6/10 Interesting concept, if not entirely original and a bit weird. Action sequences are ok, shots are sometimes a bit 'arty farty', but not bad pace-wise and lots of explosions and fights.

Really want a Corrado - VR6 , G60 or 16V?
Purgatori replied to Ricardo da force's topic in General Car Chat
I'd say get a VR6, but then I am a bit biased  I paid quite a bit more than 2-3K for mine, but she's in awesome nick and other than the expected MOT and service costs for a 16(ish) yr old car, she's been great to me. My other half paid a lot less for his VR than I did, but it turned out to have been much neglected and he paid A LOT to try and get it back to what it should be, but it was no end of trouble and on paper it was 'posher' than mine (air-con, leather seats etc etc). I had people try to encourage me to go for a valver when I said I wanted a Corrado (think they were worried about me going from a 999cc fiesta to a 2.9L beast) but I've been glad every day since I bought my baby that I got a VR6 :luvlove: but like everything, it's a personal choice. I'd agree with Toad. Drive the ones you like and see which one gives you warm fuzzies and then worry about the price tag  -
Well yeah, any kind of burning sensation related to your downstairs can't be good news!

Already  I wonder if they give him the same style send off as black stig, and what colour the next one will be :camp: Blackberry Stig!!!!!

Actually Purgatori is around 3,500 years old  But no, she don't wear much by way of clothes. Have attached two piccies for your reference, one in Vampire Goddess form, one of her in human form (Sakkara). And you ain't getting one of me!!! :tongue:2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfPurgi.jpg[/attachment:2n1bcgc1]Sakkara.jpg[/attachment:2n1bcgc1]

Fair enough, each to their own as they say. I'm obviously more easily pleased. I'm quite a simple creature see  Didn't get to see the A-Team in the cinema :( Have to wait for DVD now...

Ok... Explosions? Check. Gunfights? Check. Fisticuffs? Check. Car chase? Check. No crappy love scenes? Check. Humour and funny one-liners? Check. I give up, how could it have delivered more? Free beer?

No, it'd be painful... but she's dirty in the way that she probably likes that kinda thing And I'm sure you heard that on good authority?? Like, in The Sun?? That's awesome! Well done him :D Their name actually sounds familiar... Not sure I've heard any of their stuff though, think I'm just a weenie bit too old

The boot's a fair old size actually. A little bigger than the Corrado I think. I don't know actual figures sorry, but hope that's of some help. :)

 'One of those 80's ones' brilliant! Ben used to have a Quattro Coupe (I think, the one with the 2.2L in-line 5), which sounded amazing and was a wonderful car, I think that's why he went for the S2 now actually, cos it's like an updated version :) The S2 is a gorgeous car though, very nice. Not as rumbly as the old Audi and doesn't rock when you rev it at the lights but still, if I didn't have a Corrado I might be tempted

Like a glove!

OOOOooooohhhhhh! That explains a HUGE amount! Wondered why my intermittent wipers never made sense! I thought they had two settings I hadn't figured out or something... Oh well, I've only had her four and a half years!!
-
Overlooked, not half! Ben had all sorts of trouble trying to insure the damn thing, because the girl on the phones didn't know what one was and couldn't find it on the system! 'Is that the S3?' 'No, it's an S2.' 'You sure it's not an S3?' 'Uh, yeah!' :brickwall: Mind you not as bad as an industry professional - VAG specialist - who thought it was an S-line A2!!! :epicfail:
