I can't begin to imagine how that poor guy must feel, to see your pride and joy reduced to basically a rear end. I would have ended up doing jail time myself if it were my car, don't think I could've kept my hands off him.

I don't know if the guy who is responsible for all the crap is still trading or if the police did eventually catch up with him and throw away the key (as they should!) and I know he was predominantly an Audi guy, but I just thought I'd post this here as a warning. Stay away from a guy called Corey Jones if he has anything to do with anything car-related. Nothing good can come of it. There are some real :censored: in this world :(

Mine is a little clattery when cold and a bit lumpy when she's been sat in traffic for a while, but other than that she runs nice and smooth. I use Castrol 15w40 for engines that have done over 75k and fill up with BP Ultimate which she seems to run really well on. I'm under no illusions that she runs as smoothly as a modern car, but for her age I think she runs pretty smoothly. Maybe we could link video on here so you can hear the engines, that might help??

We used to have a Merc M-class, 3.2L petrol. Was great in the snow. Hubby got up a 60-70 degree slope on the Graig (nr. Pontypridd) leaving a Freelander sliding backwards down the hill! And it had cup holders!!! :clap: I'm not sure if you'd pick one up within budget, but you never know! And they're not too poncy, yeah it's a Merc, but a bit of comfort as you're bouncing through the snow ain't a bad thing :grin:

Being as I've realised everyone is Corrado nuts on here I don't feel too bad admitting I talk to mine... Sometimes I even ask her what music she wants on her stereo :oops:

I still have my girl :luvlove: She's just hit 100K miles and is starting to show her age a bit, but I have plans to inject some cash into her and get her all spingly again and finally get around to the subtle mods I've always meant to do.
