    Recaros??

Alas, black leather was my last purchase, and I'm not overly enamoured with it due to the odd split and tear. Swap if yours are perfect though lol.
  5. Well look at you mister 'I've got loads of interiors'! I'd give my lazy left eye to have one decent one lol. Cool I'll check out yr reply. Hope yr not trying to sell me two wing-backed armchairs. We're thick over here but not that thick :) I just checked out a courier I use and he's looking for 70 euro to bring them over. Everyone is out to rape everyone else over here, it's a disgrace. I'm sorry but I'll have to let this one slide. Hope you get them sold. Cheers. Richie

    Recaros??

I realise I may as well be looking for Jimmy Hoffa, but in case anyone is letting a set of the aforementioned seats go, please get in touch....
  7. Hey there, I will take these off you pending a quick check with my courier on carriage cost. I had UVs in my first corrado and I so terribly miss them! Richie
  8. Hi there, I will gladly take off your hands, if you would be willing to post to Longford in the Irish midlands? Richard
  9. Best I would do is 80 euro the pair. Sorry but I've got them for less in the past. If you can get more go for it.
  10. You having a bit of trouble shifting these Paul? Can't believe no-one is interested. I'd have them if they were a bit less. GLWS
  11. Hi Maverick, can you PM me with a paypal address and total price inc shipping for the centre caps? I will take all 4 if you have them. Also can you say in the PM if these are the full caps not just the badges? Many thanks! Richard
  12. Hi there, I will take the bbs centre caps. Price for shipping to Irish midlands? Good man!
  13. Hi all sorry if this has been discussed already but I recently bought a centre console gauge pod for my 91 g60 (early type pod) with oil pressure gauge and voltmeter gauge. I also bought a new vdo boost pressure gauge that I might put in place of the voltmeter. Does anyone know part numbers or suppliers for the senders and where do I fit them in the engine bay? I'm assuming the voltmeter just needs a direct feed from the battery, and as I say I might not use it, but when it comes to the oil pressure and boost gauges I am quite clueless how to get them to read from the engine compartment. Any advice appreciated immensely! Thanks Richie
  14. Just bought some stuff off CTWG60, excellent to deal with, most consciencious packager ever! Items cam quickly and intact. I only wish he would sell me more stuff. Many thanks. Highly recommended.
  15. Hi all, sorry not sure if this is the right place to ask such a question, my apologies if it is a bad move: Does it drive anyone else mad that the new VW replacement gear knobs are smaller than the factory fitted ones and have a different font for the writing? In the absence of trying to get a new 'old' leather gear knob I'm thinking of getting my old one retrimmed. Does anyone know where such a minor task might be carried out? With gracious thanks, Richard
  16. Hello my friends. I can't seem to find the part numbers for the oil pressure and water temp senders in the Bentley manual (I don't think it gives part numbers at all), and my local VAG parts guy keeps ordering the wrong ones. I had a look through the forum and although I'm sure I've seen this info on it somewhere before, I can't seem to find it now! Its for the 8v g60 engine. Need: 1. High oil pressure switch, black, 1.4 bar part number. 2. Low oil pressure switch, brown, 0.3 bar part number. 3. Blue coolant temp sensor part number. 4. Black coolant temp sensor part number. 5. According to the bentley manual, there is another coolant temp sensor on the heater hose flange on the side of the engine block. I had a look at my car and I don't see this, at least, there are no wires going to that location. Can someone check their engine for this? Maybe the sensor has been disconnected on mine? Car is 1991 G60. Cheers. Much obliged lads. Richard
  17. I got one off gwerks. might take a week or so.
  18. ...or is that 4000? I can't think properly!
  19. Yeah, something similar with me. The oil light and buzzer come on at 2000 revs when the engine is hot, goes off again when I downshift. Of course, 2000 revs is 50mph in 5th, so you can imagine how often it comes on! Haven't solved it yet.
  20. *I have removed this post as the matter was a simple misunderstanding and has been resolved*
  21. Are those the two senders on the big pipe from the charger at the very top of the engine bay? They're water temp sensors? Thought they'd be in or near the rad. Anyway the latest is, (deep breath) I started her up from cold again, blah blah same story as before-light came on. However, I knocked off the engine and restarted her. I left her run for a good half hour and the oil got up to and leveled off at 100, water levelled off as before at 75, but no light this time! It'll probably do it again but I'm not worried anymore. I'm gonna take your much appreciated advice everyone, can't hurt. thanks alot!! :D :D :D However, there is one more nuisance problem and I could use some advice. Definitely electrics this time. No diplights. Just lost em the other day. I've just changed the bulbs to no avail. I have parking lights, full beams, but no dips. All wiring seems to be fine. I was told the car had the upgraded loom/relay but to be honest I dont think it does as the full beams are still pretty bad. That said there is a whole jumble of new wires and what looks like a relay attached in behind the OSF lamp, but everything seems to be connected in. I pulled out the switch from the dash and all that looks good too. Does anyone know how to bypass the switch to test if its the switch or if its wiring somewhere along the way? If I know what to connect up on the red pinbox behind the switch I think I can test this. thanks all, in advance, for taking time out to help me on this seemingly dumb-ass problem.
  22. I goddam love this car, she is so sweet! Just started her up from cold. all sender wires are attached correctly and in good nick. Radiator feed and outlet pipes are heating up evenly. Fan comes on and runs fine. When oil temp reaches 82, water temp light comes on, water temp needle at about 65 degrees. I did this with the expansion tank lid off, and at blinking light, there was barely any steam out of it, so I'd say the 65 degrees sounds about right. If the thermo was stuck the rad pipes wouldn't be same temp, AFAIK. This is all at idle by the way, car has not moved. I am feduddled still. But I have a cracking G60, so it's not all bad!!! :norty:
