  1. We didnt really notice with the g60 we had decated. the pipe made the exhaust sound quite tinney in the morning till the heat got down it. I guess it must release a little bit of power but not as much as we would all like it too.
  2. The lever will feel extremley slack mate as it wont be putting any tension on the cable or its outer sleeving. :(
  3. The spare wheel well is a good place for ice etc. When i bought the old bbg distribution corrado, they had fitted a bass cube cross overs etc under the amp rack in the well it looked trick and allowed room for the rest of the install. The arm rest is a good place as well just the right size for most changers as well! :)
  4. Im suprised about that mate, I worked there for a bit and i only ever had one clifford back and that was due to a dodgey tilt motion sensor. As a rule ant is a very competent alarm fitter. He fitted two cat ones on different corrados ive had before i worked there and theyve always been good. Maybe theyve gone down hill a bit mate?
  5. The uk maping version which weve been selling have been super. With the navteq mapping the system uses, its door to door and very accurate, and because of its size and design can even be used handheld. The screen resolution etc is superb and easy to use. With the added benifit of speed camera detection which can be regularly updated its a superb bit of kit at £399. With the european mapping included we can supply at a good price for forum members.
  6. I ve sold some of the snooper indago sat nav units in the shop the last month or so. Not had any complaints and some of the buyers have reported back with good results. £399 retail which is in the middle so to speak.
  7. You can also ask if the camera has been calibrated that day, if it hasnt and they cant provide evidence that it has then its null and void that way too mate.
  8. Take the backs off the fobs and make sure the three solder joints on the plate that holds the battery in place on the circuit board are all true. They have been known to have hairline cracks in the joints which stop the fobs working mate. although it does sound a little more serious. You havent got any extras like intelli start fitted have you mate?
  9. We sell a real nice jvc unit for £159 mate. Good spec, ill get the model number for you tommorrow. Timmy
  10. Hi beavis jim. How is the alarm now mate?
  11. Is it better when the cars warmed up mate? That little circlip under the gear gaiter can sometimes be the culprit, on mine it eventually turned ou to be the master cylinder. Have a look on the search though bud theres loads of good info.
  12. Weve had good results with adrian flux, our joint insurance is not a bad price on the vr6.
  13. Mine should be spare by then mate.
  14. Hi mate give Bill a ring at Audio In Motion. 01202 514000 He has been in the game a few years and knows his stuff. Just say timmy from weymouth said to ring. Im sure he will be able to help you or will know who you need to speak to. Cheers Bud
  15. To disconect you would probably have to by-pass the imobiliser cuts on the loom, starter and inition wires mate. It could be also possible that the alarm could have a motion sensor thats not deactivating when the system is disarmed. Where abouts is the alarm braain located?
  16. Can you see where abouts on the loom the powers have been connected or are they hidden? They will have fuse holders on a loop near to them.
  17. Does it also do it when its just been raining mate and the cars been sat? It comes in through the plastic seal/skin behind the door card sometimes you can see traces of it on the plastic trims, as it makes its way down the onto the carpet :( Also check the rubber door seal as well for rips etc. Sometimes it can get in through the air intake for the fan in the scuttle mate especially if it gets blocked up with leaves etc. Also check the grommets in the bulk head and make sure that they are all in place, as these can allow water to get into the cabin.
  18. With the microwave sensor you can hide it somewhere nice and discrete like under the hand brake cowling, which is nice :D
  19. Hi mate do you know what make the motor is? If so I may be able to get a wiring diagram for the kit and the different wiring set ups.

    Starter button

Aslong as the power wire from the battery is fused you shouldnt have to much of a problem mate i dont think.

    EBC BRAKES

Ive just been out again and put them through there paces a bit more and they seem great, and so much more bite than standard. As kevHaywire said there have been loads of improvement at ebc so maybe this is why theyre a lot better than the previous ebc pads and dics?
