    i think a set of alloys is roughly 50-60kgs..... Most couriers will quote around £60..... but try the yellowpages and find a courier who specialises in ebay stuff.... i sent some alloys form newcastle down to nottingham for £12.50 per pair of alloys......

    looks alright, but they are 2 a penny now so wouldn't go any higher than _Monkey said....     Hynes (or Hines) Autos in Ferndown are vw specialists...... My old mk3 1.4 golf used to go there... they seemed pretty good!

    that sounds good, i am in no real hurry (will be after xmas) but i have rusty stone chips on my bonnet and some rust at the bottom of the doors that needs to be sorted.... Would that be the sort of job he would consider or is it too much?

    why is there no set prices with insurance? if you bought a tv from currys for £700 if you wnet anywhere else you may find maximum £100 difference in prices, but iwth insurance on place cna say £800 fully comp and naother £2000 for exactly the same car!!!!! there really does need to be more investigative work into insurance companies workings and price structure...... it's fecked up :cuckoo:

    what bhp are you running? i went out in my mates polo g40 the other day and that was pretty mental so i guess your will be fast as fcuk... the r32 will be bloody heavy so i think it may be closer than what you would automatically think!! he should have more topend, i think! let us know, would be interesting to hear!!

    i'd say get a cheap mk3 golf vr..... there are loads aobut so you can be choosy... and then with the money you saved on buying a rado vr6 you can put it in your westfield piggybank..... Then if it happens it happens if it doesn't sell the golf and get the rado at a later date!! The golfs aren't bad cars at all, people have different opinions, but it's still a pretty hot hatch..... :)
