  1. Hi all, I am looking to buy a corrado soon (if i sell my car!) and have found a nice one but it has cloth interior. Its a K reg so i just wanted to know whether this was the earlier style cloth interior or the nicer later style cuz one i like the other i dont lol. Cheers. Rob.
  2. i think the mpg will go into the minuses  I think he will suffer a little bit of understeer in it too

  4. Happy bday for yesterday, car looks good and the cakes awesome, your girlfriend has got better at drawing since the last cake
  5. I LOVE your car Dan, the blackberry is an amazing colour and you have kept it standard too!
  6. Lucky guy, i am still waiting to sell my car before i can get a VR6 :( one day soon hopefully i will be smiling ear to ear in my own corrado vr6 :D
  7. Hi Ben, thought i would post your C up incase you dint see this thread, im for the smoothed look after seeing yours in the flesh :D it looks awesome, i would get mine done eventually! (if i ever get one :( lol)
  8. Here's a pic with a smoothed from bumper. I think this one looks good, but wont you get pulled for not having a front number plate?
  9. What colour is it mate? If ya gunna replace the bushes id go with powerflex poly bushes, they are much better :thumb right:
  10. No mate, i race with New Era and i havent raced the R1 much as i used to race a VFR400 mainly. Circuits iv been on are mainly Donington, Mallory, Brands, cadwell, Oulton, Snetterton, Pembrey, Rockingham etc etc.
  11. Haha thats great! When i get one i will christan it so in a way i will use it as a bed ;) lol P.S no pics will be available lol
  12. I would wanna track mine, i already know most tracks as i race motorbikes (yamaha R1!) so i think it would be awesome in the car (although im worried i may ditch it due to me knowing the tracks fast and the car might not handle my pace lol). Iv gotta get a corrado vr6 first though :(
  13. It looks suspiciously like a photoshop to me being a shopper myself. The exhausts somehow look fake and the mirrors dont look right from a drivers angle, look a bit 'add-on'. Im probably wrong though, if i am then its impressive!
  14. Sorry mate i mis-read it at first, yeah you can have VRG at the end, so with a screw in the right place it would look like a 6. I tried looking for summin with 29 VRG to make it 2.9 VR6 but the first letters are too new for the cars ages which is a shame!
  15. I think you are right actually there mate, sorry i just read the site and it only says you can not make your car appear newer than it is so yeah ya right :thumb right:
  16. Just had a look for that one and its not available but V29 RAD is which is quite good too :)
  17. You can on this style mate, its on the style with the date in the middle e.g. VR51 COR you couldnt have because the corrado is older than 51 etc etc
  18. The R is actually a number 2 but if you get a plate made back hand ;) then you can get it to look siilar to an R. You cant have VRG as the dvla set plates are 2 letters, 1 number and 3 letters or the newer style which is 2 letters, year and 3 letters. You could actually have VR6 at the front and have any old crap for the 3 letters.
  19. I have just been looking on the dvla website at personal plates as i may get one when i get my vr. I came across a beauty which i am surprised hasn't been taken already and its £399. Here it is with a little tweeking to how it could look: P.s it looks like VR6 COR rado :D lol
  20. Thats some good information mate, i will be getting a vr soon so will check for these :thumb right:
  21. I had a look at some sites and PI's are looking a good option. What are your views on SPAX springs though? they have a good write up, and sound better than the PI's. Also these springs are made for the car, does that mean that they are ok to put onto standard shocks or would that cock up the handling at all? Cheers. Rob
  22. Thanks for the help guys. If the eibachs are quite hard and crashy then i will look for an alternative, i want quite a comfortable ride but lower with good handling. I will take a look at the PI springs if not then i might think to about the H&R's. Cheers everyone :)
  23. So 60mm is quite a drop then. What about 40mm, id rather go 40 to tell the truth. Would that bea nice subtle drop and look good with the wheels? Below are the wheels im getting: Click here
  24. Thanks for your advice mate. Its worth thinking about. Id rather get a good one in the first place tbh so i wont have to do much work on it. I already have some wheels lined up on the cheap so dont need that much money spare for them. As for suspension, iv noticed a lot of people have coilovers but arent they expensive? I was just thinking a nice drop of say 60 on some decent springs like eibach etc? Or is that no good?
