Have at last found some calipers and carriers now busy refurbishing them now. Anyone know the part number for the 4 bolts for the carriers so I can visit the stealers for the parts
-
Are these numbers on the calipers ?
-
Seller says they came off a Mk 3 GTI 8V but thinks they were VR6 type.
-
Seen some 288mm calipers for sale as part of conversion mod. How do I know if they are correct ones is there a part number on them ?

Hi All I am organising this year to organise a CCGB stand at Breamore House between Ringwood and Salisbury on Sunday 16th August. Have been in touch with the organisers and it will cost about £5 per car which includes driver and passenger. Additional persons will be charged. The only other requirement is that we have a minimum of 4 cars, but if we have more interested they would fit more in. House site below for further details. breamorehouse.com/ The organisers of the event are Gemini Events. http://www.classicmotorshows.co.uk/ CCGB Mmebers please visit your site for further details.

Glad someone else has fitted with not to much trouble a worth while mod and much cheaper than a TT or Lupo option and it keeps it standard. I wonder if a concourse judge would notice one to try. Can't try mine as it is not up to standard expected. What I want to try now is find a donar car that has a cover to fill that void space where the wiper motor is. Next project to visit a scrap yard to measure up. I know there is one on the market but who wants to pay their prices.

There is a very slight rubbing but causing no problems with me.

Been using them in anger this week loads of rain clearance great and they are quiet no sceeching.

I Experimented fitted 20" first coverage not enough finally went for 22" Regarding part numbers once I heard about this mod ordered 1 Pair BMW E30 1990 Wiper Arms covers already with arms don't realy need part numbers. Also you use existing corrado mechanism. This is a simple mod anyone with suitable tools can do. Hope the pics are ok and I have explained it enough.
-
Any pics yet and are the carriers and bolts with them as I am still interested
-
Ordered some E30 Arms arrived today massive springs £14 pr delivered much cheaper than TT ones WILL fit Sat and take a few photos. Wiper Arms fitted however had to place a small spacer behind driver side wiper mechanism as there was very slight rubbing on bonnet. Also to maintain same screen coverage fitted 22" blades as a result screen clearing and pressure is 100% better than before.

good one -
Nothing I just mounted them inside using brackets provided with kit. I did manufacture a small shield to protect wiring from heat of main beam otherwise was simple enough.
