  1. Given these are such a popular part to go wrong/wear out/deteriorate in pairs usually. Why are they so expensive at £124 for one side even more if you add the postage. Given they probably come all the way from China and if one side needs changing you more thank likely need both otherwise it will not look right. I thought by now the price would have dropped drastically for each side for this popular part. I would need a lot of discount !! before I purchase a set/one This is just an observation.
  2. Yep unless we can pick some up at the show bound to be hopefully a few sellers there this weekend.

  10. Anyone used ColourTech in Portsmouth for wheel refurb.
  11. Well said Jim. I personally think we the CCGB should meet with the Forum and work out how we can work together for the good of the CORRADO model and its owners to ensure we all benifit. Maybe both sites could merged/linked together with a possible meet up on how we can co operate together.
  12. As a CCGB Committee member (merchandise)it is the official UK Corrado club giving you all sorts of benefit's why not re join we are a friendly bunch. Visit the CCGB Website and our facebook page and hopefully see you around. Sorry can't really comment on the Forum in case I say something incorrect.

  14. Anyone who can recommend a speedline wheel refurb company in the Portsmouth area.
  15. Tomi On the UK car registration document there is a VIN/Serial number do you by any chance know how it is affected by fitting a new cylinder head from the factory fitted one. From the post I gather you are not based in the UK and what is postatge. What do you recommend I do with old cylinder head if I purchase one. Any other recommendations from others who have purchased would be good.
  16. Just a quick question how does this affect the log book registration document ?
  17. There are not many Auto VR'S about so they are rarer so eventually they could be worth more in the future looking ahead.
  18. Why so far away I'd bite your arm off for it. Good luck with sale well worth it.
  19. What does this seal conditioner like the Forte products do.
  20. My 94 VR has done 128k which is also burning oil which sounds normal but smoking slightly probably valve stem seals I have been told. I had a quote the other day for a top end overhaul £1800 that's before they dismantle then find something else to increase it even more.
  21. Just renewed my front tyres on my VR and the tyre man told me there was excessive corrosion inside both wheels. Where can I get new/better condition ones from Thought about ebay etc but all sell with tyres so don't know condition of the wheel. Saw new ones on a german site but can't remember now which one. PS don't need tyres.
  22. Hi just for interest what did you use for the tint CCGB have a stand at the Bristol classic car show this Sat & Sun near shepton Mallet why not pop down and bring them with you might even buy them and save postage How about 40.
  23. Hi All This is just a recommendation. Just had my windscreen replaced on my VR. I went through my insurance company who use Nationwide windscreens. The company who turned up were Motorglass Auto Glazing 01903 731246 or 0800 7314463 http://www.motorglassautoglazing.co.uk from Littlehampton (Kevin)had a good chat with him and saw the job he did. He did an excellent job taking out, treating and inserting the new screen. He also said JMR (John Mitchell) in Littlehampton only use him for windscreens because of his experiance with Corrado's. So if your screen needs replacing and you are down south make sure you have him to do the job. Ron
