Talking of top end rebuilds and chains mines just hit 130k and feel its time to get it sorted costing £900 for chains clutch and all the rest of the stuff that goes with it £250+ Vat for head rebuild! Mines getting done at PSI tuning in stoke!

It will go down slightly on full throttle and return to somewhere around the same area after you let off the gas thats all the flutuation you should get! You going round corners too fast lol!

Lol looks like i got my rad at the right time then i got mine off a mate who works for audi (same group as VW) and he got the discount aswell! Asked him to sort me one out and phoned me back later and said its going to be pricey so when he told me £122 quid i was more than happy! Must vary from which part of the country you get it from!

just make sure everything is connected right! Power cable, rca's are the right way round, blue wire connected to the amp and the headunit, earth securly connected and the wires that connect the sub to the amp are all fine! There must be one thing that you've missed for it not to be working! Hope you solve it!

nope just the amp has an earth! make sure fuses are ok! Is the sub brand new ??

from what i can remember the blue wire is a remote wire so you can turn the sub off from the headunit you may have to turn it on from the headunit! also make sure the earth is good! hope this helps!

never mind all done and dusted now god knows what its like without the cold air feed but its load enough with it on tunnel driving is immense and throttle response is miles better powers there as soon as ya put your foot down woo love it!

What does the middle clip connect to when fitting the bmc its like it screws onto something ???

personally always go for a VAG one got mine for £122 quid when mine went big ish job but can be done yourself and you'll save on labour costs!

Anyone ordered one through stealth ?? What is the other part that i need to buy to make it fit the corrado VR6 ?? Just so i dont sound like an idiot when ordering! Just missed out on one on ebay that went for £112 so thought sod it get a brand new one then at least i know where its been!

So with him having a K&N fitted he wouldnt have an air inlet temp sensor as it was in the standard air box?? -
Right fellas a mate from work is trying to find either the air inlet temp sensor or the MAF on his golf 1.8 20v gti anyone know where it is ?? I think its the connector that connects to the the pipe behind his K&N am i right ??
