Mine only had the fog light on the right. When i was changing some bulbs i noticed the wiring was there for it so i popped out the blanking plate, job done. Its not as bright as the original one on the right, due to there not being a reflective backing in it, but at least it works! :)

I have just noticed mine starting to do this. I am going to get some leather cleaning stuff this weekend and see how i get on, i dont think its the leather, just grime on the surface of it.

Mine is cracked in the same place as well, i have tried getting one from VAG and they quoted my £96 + vat only ony problem, its now an obsoulete part :( No one makes an aftermarket part either, the only thing you can do is to look out for a complete dash with it or keep your eyes peeled for any VR6's that are breaking.

Hi all, This morning my 94 VR6 was not putting out any heat into he car, At lunch i decided to check the system for an air block, which there was, once that was cleared all was working fine. On the way home from work once again i could not get any heat out, so i let it boil over without the cap on and it was working ok. Then 20mins later i had to pop out, but i some how gained another air block. Any ideas of what could be causing this? Cheers

Thanks for the comments, Yes Rick you are right the manifold was blowing, but the guy had it changed because the car was turned down previously (which would have been your mate). He also lowered his price to £3150 but i managed to get him down to 3K!! I think the issue with the gearbox may have been down to the fact that the car had only done about 300 miles since its MOT in febuary, but it feels better now i have done quite a few miles in her. Thanks for the comments, yes Rick it is from Crawley, what did you think of it on the test drive? To be honest at the min i am going to focus my attention on getting it cleaned up real smart then i will probably move my attention onto the suspension and the wheels. Hi all, I need to change the cam cover gasket this weekend on my 1994 VR6, can anyone give me any pointers on what to look out for or give me a link to where i can get a strip down diagram, as i have not got a service manual, so i am basically doing this blind :( Cheers
