No trouble at all. Easy to setup and no need to play with extra features. Good enough for my project, but i dont think anyone who knows more about tig welding will buy this little, cheap machine. Dont worry,i dont have steady hand too. What do you need is patience. ;)

The Clarke should be fine, but Im using Tig welder from uk based company with 2yr warranty http://www.r-techwelding.co.uk/welding_equipment/Tig_Welder/Tig_Welders_R-Tech_Tig160PDC Cant complain.

Yes Kev. All bits home made. :)

Thanks Sam.

Not any new videos, just informing you that im doing some power upgrades.

You're welcome. Ive set 0.68 idt in general settings.

Here you are Kev

Great info,as always. :) What I dont understand is,how can you make low down torque under 2500 rev? But I have to admit the torque is immense. Had to learn how to drive it in low gears. Now Im preparing bits for low boost turbocharging. Thats just for a start Im afraid. :)

Never had luck with PIDs. Ive had used closed loop for lambda corrections, but found it to be unstable on idle speed. For cam adjusting is used PWM base map. Not sure if its correct. What do you think Kev? BTW.I have set frequency of cam adjusting solenoid at 200hz.

Hi. Im still after some 5 stud 17'' wheels for my corrado which will fit over brembos. Any alternatives to Rota G-forces?
-
Very useful info Kev. :) Thanks After few mapping sessions I must admit the torque at low speed of R32 is immense. Great fun on a motorway. I have standard Vr6 FD plus long 5 gear but even that car is accelerating nicely. Now I can hear sucking air in through BMC CAI and the exhaust tone is totally different. Much more racy. I love it. I think this thread is also very useful http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?4051402-24v-VVT-Mapping

To be honest,I dont think I know what Im doing. There is no response from normal driving, mapping ecu. I have connected inlet cam sensor and inlet camshaft. I can see sensor readings, but I have no idea what angles, timing should I put in table. For now Im trying to use different settings for camshaft adjustment through cam base PWM only.. Btw. For now Im using simpler switching of variable intake manifold flap on AUX4 as I dont have wiring for Aux3. Works great, but solenoid is a little bit noisy when switched on. Should I use hysteresis for slower action? I do apologise guys that I hijacked this thread.

You are my hero. I have done some mapping session with new torque settings and engine is much more thirsty(around 30 in fuel map) then in power mode. Thank you very much for help.
-
Hi Kev. You've just opened my eyes. The intake manifold flap was always turned(pulled down) on at 4100rpm by actuator. That means it has always worked in opposite way.Open for power when engine was in low speed. No wonder I have no torque under 4000rpm. I will be very grateful if you can share your experiences and help me to sort that aux output for flap actuator. Thank you very much for the map. David

Hi Kev. Im running coils and injectors in batch setup. Using only intake camshaft, Modified cable driven R32 throttle body, standard intake manifold. I know the torque is there but is not where is suppose to be. The engine is BUB one(2008. I think is more about electronic throttle body, because when you drive in it you accelerate from 2000 rev and butterfly is fully open, then there is no response, engine feels like is choking. O2 sensor is showing right numbers, mixture is neither rich or weak. But if you play with gas pedal and keep butterfly open in right angle, enough for the certain speed of engine but map sensor is showing full load(hope you do understand my english) that moment is pulling like a train. Unfortunately I never seen R32 ignition advance base map,so that makes it a little bit harder to do fine tuning properly. All installation and street tuning was done by me. Maybe that is the issue :)

Im disappointed with my torque plot. Is there any magic done by factory ecu, camshafts angles, throttle body etc. Can anyone explain it,please :) Here is standard plus modified R32 graph and mine.

My home made exhaust was a bit louder then I was thinking.

here is my R32. Bit confused from torque plot. Shame others with R32 couldnt be measured. Was a quite busy day for me thats why I arrived late.

Hi folks. Im after Rota G-Force 5 stud wheels 17'' for Corrado, preferably in white colour. Thanks in advance
