  2. just had a quick play in photoshop and came up with this, but im sure someone will come up with a better quality one.
  3. Gunmetal grey would look great i reckon, or perhaps a darker colour to match your darkened windows ?
  4. After a hectic week ive finally managed to find some time to get some snaps of my newly acquired S3 Hope you enjoy......... Typically as soon as i got in my car it became overcast! Better pics when we have a scorcher :)

  8. Thnaks for that, do you know where i can find a list of the options and their prices?
  9. Paying 11.5k - saw some right shitters for that money, and with more miles so im happy :)

  12. haha i know what you mean, ive never parked so close to the front door of tescos!
  13. Well some of you may have noticed ive not shown my face much in the last few weeks as ive been scouring the net for a new car since selling the Corrado VR6. Oh yeah did i mention they are also revo'ing it to 265BHP and i think 287lb ft ! To be honest it couldnt come quick enough, since the corrado went ive been cruising around in my girlfriends Pug 205! Shes back from uni at the weekend so i bought this to tide me over (not using the mk1 polo for a weeks work!) As you can see its a right toilet. £140 with 11 months ticket, just gotta tax it then whack it on ebay next week when the S3 arrives!
  14. i was considering an elise but every now and then i have to move loads of stuff so need a hatchback - No way am i piling stuff in the back of my polo!
  15. Well the VR6 went during the week so the hunt is on for a nice black S3. Saw a nice 210bhp one today at fontains, right price, all the right bits in but it was ming blue (Very very very dark blue metallic) The testdrive was well tumbleweed - couldnt get it over 60 for more than three seconds on the route the salesman took me on - didnt feel amazing but like i said it wasnt a proper test drive. Also saw a metallic green one (Would never buy one) but seeing as it was just round the corner from me and was a dealer i decided to give it a spin for comparison. This one was a 225bhp model and jesus did it shift - if it wasnt for the green colour and silver leather id have been more that interested! The bose system in both was excellent i must add, especially after the naff standard set up in my VR6. Hopefully going to go and see a couple more tomorrow, need to get one soon as i cant stand my girlfriends 205 any longer (hope she doesnt read this!) Theres a few facelift models out there with fash and less than 70k on the clock for less than 12k (ive budgeted 11k for the car and a grand or so for a remap etc.. ) Hopefully have some pics of one on my driveway for you all soon :)
  16. Was parked up outside someones house yesterday to do a viewing - The owner came out and said "Now theres a car that shifts"
  17. im thinking of one of these after i sell the C (not the new S3 but the older one) Not that minted!
  18. ive been without mine for 5 days getting a cooling problem fixed. Have been driving the mk1 polo and as much as i love it, was a refreshing change getting back in the C!
  19. True but my mate got pulled by them. Its one thing flashing some blue lights, but pulling someone over in all the kit is a bit too far!
  20. Like i said the corrado is getting a bit long in the tooth for my needs, i would love to keep as well as a new car but that i cannot afford to do. The MK1 polo is staying as thats my new weekend toy. I would deffo have another C in the future but not until i have more parking and can afford to buy a mint low mileage VR. I need something more modern for the now.
  21. Thanks for your input guys. Bmw - Beemers dont do it for me at all, apart from E30 M3 and that aint gonna be suitable! Mazda rx8 - again holds no appeal to me whatsoever (apart from the engine) Alfa - I have thought about these in the past, but i wouldnt own one. Integra Type R - Very nice but again i wouldnt own one.
  22. Well ive semi decided to offload the Corrado VR6 and get something more modern and with less miles on it. Using the car all day for driving to properties to conduct viewings and do valuations involves lots of short journeys and i feel perhaps the corrado is no longer the right car for the job (Despite how much i fucking love the bloody thing!) I have narrowed down the choices as im well fussy with cars. Dont want to ditch the leathers as i would see that as downgrading and i like them too. Performance is another key issue as the VR doesnt struggle in that department. Not fussed about sat nav cos i can read a map thank you very much, and who needs aircon when you have leccy windows ?! Other key factors are looks and low depreciation. Audi S3 - Really understated but go like the clappers - easily modded to up performance. Audi TT - A bit clit. So many around and look a bit dated now - theres just something about them. Mini Cooper S - A bit of a weird one for me as i never really liked the older minis. My best mate has a Mini Cooper S Works Alpina (ex-press car) which ive driven and fucking love it. Interior is sweet and they hold their value well (kinda) Also like the Scene i can imagine they have similar to dubbers. Lotus Elise - Awesome car and id imagine probably the best drivers car on my list. Not very practical though as you cant fit much in them and im not using the MK1 Polo to carry shit around! Seat Leon Cupra R - I like these, look good and sleek, not sure abput 5 doors though! VW MK4 GTI Anniversary - My instinct says go for this being a veedub, but with so many 1.4s about with big rims they all look the same, and perhaps a tad boring. Budget will be around 10k. If anyone has any good bad experiences with the above id love you to share them. Cheers
  23. Just got word that they have acquired a black VR6 with tinted windows. A mate got pulled by them in his Polo G40 Will try and get a pic should i see it about.....
