I have paid for a twin room in a travelodge on the outskirts of brum so i dont have to get up at the crack of dawn on sunday (its a long trek in a 900cc mk1 polo from surrey) My mate who was coming now has to work so i have a space left in my room. Just thought there might be someone who the other bed may be of use to as i know the hotels are pretty much full closer to telford The hotel is about 25 miles from the site as we were hoping to join in with the spirit of the show and join a bit of a convoy er-route. quickest - probably my mates tvr t350 thingy - very rapid, or my bosses 911 C4S Quickest ive owned - my vr6 Most interesting - tvr would have to be a good contender but is pipped to the post in respect of exclusivity by the golf limited 16v g60 that my mate took me in to pick up my corrado. that thing again was very rapid.

2 today! someone came into the office to arrange a viewing on a house - i said might be a couple of minutes late as was coming from another viewing. the bloke said jokingly "you'll have to drive quicker" to which i replied that shouldnt be a problem! he asked if it was my VR6 parked outside and i said yes. His response was "nice - always wanted one of them" complimented by a knowing nod of the head. Second was on a house viewing with another guy - asked me if it was my corrado as he has one that doesnt get used much - VR6 auto tuned by gti engineering apprently 220ish bhp - hes gonna sell so i told him to look on this site! All in all a good day.

aweesome car. my mate had an older s4 and took me round castle coombe in it and that thing shifted. he now has a newer one and its a beast - brilliant noise. I bet you he buys it. edited as id previously put s3 when in fact i meant s4 DOH

my spoiler wasnt working up until recently. went for an mot and it started working again (i know they sorted some wiring and fuse) Looks like it is set a quarter way up on the pics shown, if you take the inner panel off the inside of the boot you can wind it up manually so will be safer when cornering at speed etc..... hope this helps

yeah i just browsed through the star at the boozer. correct me if im wrong but wasnt the vr6 introduced in the 90's ? Ripped it out to hang onto anyway!
