Coxys R32 4 Motion Corrado - On the Road!!!!

I think I have a leaking brake servo. I must have damaged it taking it out to replace some gromets in the bulkhead. That is going to be a pig to change because...almost everything I put in over the weekend will need to come back out. Arrrgghhhh!! -

Well, it's alive, and the first miles since 2010. A few "teething" issues though :( -
To get the FD off would mean pressing off the gears from one of the shafts, and obviously doing the opposite on your VR box. It is much more simple to replace all of the internals with those from the mk3 16v box, the ratios are nigh on identical, and this way you won't need to replace some associated bearings either as this box was silent in use. It also means you wouldn't have to drill out the diff rivets either, unless you are looking to fit an LSD.

In a word, not yet, I will be putting the heavy grade dynamat on the bulkhead, but I am going to get the car running first. Dash will be out next year as IMO it is too low at the moment, my legs barely clear the bottom of the steering wheel and I'm not that tall at 6'. The floor and tunnel are yet to be covered, but I figure they could be easier than the doors, quarters, inner arches and bootlid. It all will be done though, just a matter of when!! ---------- Post added at 12:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:27 PM ---------- No, as Kev says, just drilled to shave off a few grams (and you really don't save much either!!). Fingers crossed that it still works... ---------- Post added at 12:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:29 PM ---------- Shame the rest of the install doesn't look quite so smart at the moment :( -

So, a few little bits of progress: Some sound insulation: Some heat insulation: With all this insulation I will be needing some shove to move the car along: the schrick cams in: And some weight out: Keep water out with this: Keep water in with this: Experimenting with some headlights, lightly smoked? I am hoping to get the car running next weekend for the first time in a long time. Fingers crossed!! -

And bump :) -
Hi there, Looking at your pictures, it has the module attached to a home made bracket. With the coilpack, this is built in and has the 3 pin connector attached to the coil pack (you can just see the top of it in the picture)
-
I have an ignition coil from a 4 cylinder car. See below. They bolt through the coilpack and into the bulkhead.

Hi all, I am in Reading, Berkshire. I don't really want to post, I packed up a sunroof about a year ago and it took an age, about three rolls of tape and that wasn't glass. I am just too busy with my projects, work, and trying to get rid of small bits by post that I would really prefer collection. Thanks, N. -
