Hi, I'm looking for a passenger side seat lever. The one that's on the side of the seat, it folds the seat forward and hold the seat belt in place. Also, I need one of the tiny, round trim hole cover/stud things for the trim located in the driver and passenger footwell... in beige/tan/cream. For a Storm leather interior. Cheers

Is any one running Bilstein B4 dampers? Looking for same ride hight, factory springs with better damping... or are B6 the way forward?

It's okay, I've found the answer... VW made two styles of grill, one open slot and all slots open.

Hi Did VW make more then one type of grill for the later cars? I'm looking to replace mine as it has a hole, maybe from a rock boucing off the front and a couple of clips missing. The reason I ask is my grill is only open on the bottom slot, the two slots above are blanked off. I would have thought all the slots would be open to help cool this engine. It's a genuine VW grill just not what I was expecting to see. Cheers

Cool, well done for turning out a pretty standard motor, just how I like them. I'd say the price seems okay based on the history, the work that's been done and the condition of the car. It'll be interesting to see the total spend on this build.

I'm really looking forward to this series. The VR6 should be very interesting. Does any one know where the cars are advertised for sale?

I believe they are standard shocks and springs. Boge shocks. Possibly 5 or 6 year old with about 10k miles on them. No idea when it was last set up. I've only had it a month. Cheers

I had a good blast on some choice backroads today, the car felt good and I'm starting to get used to the handling after coming from a sorted Ford Puma. A couple of things have shown them selves on the run out, though. The front end bounces up and down over undulating roads when pushing on, it feels under damped, if that's the correct term. Also, when turning at speed the steering judders/knocks and feels slightly vague. It's certainly no where near as sharp as the Puma. ...and it pulls to the left. I need sharpen all this up so any input from handling gurus on here would be more than appreciated. Cheers

I've been around for some time, but kept myself under the radar. I've had a few VWs over the years and last weekend took the plunge on a VR6 Storm, Bullfinchs car from this forum. It's a tidy car with a huge service history and some tasty tweeks to the oily bits. Best of all it looks bog standard. A fun drive North was had, lol. I'm not planning on doing a lot to it, bit of paint and I've just booked it in for a custom SS exhaust. Roll on the summer...

Passed a Corrado chasing a Audi A6 Avant North on the A19 near Sunderland today, I was heading South. Bib on an A6? takes all sorts I suppose.
