took a few photos on thursday in the snow/rain !! of the rado and my old golf, now vinnygolfs jazz blue gti. they are not the best of pics as it was very cold plus they were taken with a phone ! hope you guys like ! will have a update on a few performance parts going on the rado over the weekend ! ;)

yer we will have to catch up at the next brands meet, i like the sound of this rado of yours !! we will have to have a photo shoot at the next brands meet of the 2 classic green rados ! :lol:

i got them custom spec from image, as i told them iv got 312mm brakes and i had alot of room under the back arches, i do think you see more vws on bbs these days than a image rim.

There Bills old rims.. from what I remeber they are porsche fitment with a prety high offset.. Ben, really looking he nuts fella.. did you send the rims of the image to get them refurbed or do them yrself? hello mate hows it going ? no i sold bills ones that i had off him as they would not fit on my car with hub adaptors in anyway.but i liked them so much i just got a set from Image.

your spot on there junki !! no apologies needed, your spot on with all that. i can not remember offset on the fronts ? :? i will check on the paper work i got from Image, think its got it on there, if not its on the back of the wheels. next time iv got them off il pm it to you.

here we go guys some pics of how the engine bay and how it now looks ! :D i have colour coded the strut brace and gone for some black autobhan88 hose's. i think it looks alot better, but let me know what you think befor ! after sorry had to put another pic of these badboys up !! lol

thanks for all the kind words lads ! :) iam still in 2 minds about the roof !! some days i love it and iam gonna keep it, then the next day i want it off ! i think it will come off in the next month or 2 and then i will smoth of the shark fin and thats it. :) as for running 9 1/2s on the back there is no rubbing probs at all ! but i did do some arch work when i did all the body work to fit the d90s. iam gonna get some pics up later of the engine bay after its make over..

ok here it is guys !!!! the make over is done and the new wheels are on ! :D let me no what you think ?? they are 3 pice billit Image 85s ! the fronts a 8s and the backs are 9 1/2s and they are sitting on Avon ZZ3 rubber all round. the fronts being 205/40zr16s and the back being 215/40/zr16s. iv gone away from the strech look ! as it looks good, but it just does not give you the performance i need from the car with steched tyres. the ride hight will sit a bit lower when i get a chance to adjust the coilovers, but not by much as i want to be able to chuck the car into the caracel at the nurburgring next year with ripping the bumper off !!! :) il get some better pics up over xmas when i have a chance of detailing the car....

OK The car is going back together now ! the front bumper has had a new coat of paint, looks good now all the stone chips have gone ! :) the grill also got a new coat of paint so the front end looks nice and fresh. iv gone back to the 50mm spliter on the front as the new 16inch image splits are running on 40 profile rubber so the car is being lowerd a bit more, plus it gives me a bit more ground clearence ! what i need as i want to chuck the car into the carercel at the ring next year and not rip it of the bumper !!! lol the BOSH HID kit is in and looks the money ! i can see were iam going at night now :D under the bonnet has had a make over to ! the strut brace has bin colour coded and the red hose's have bin changed for some black Autobhan88 ones. il get some pics up of the car on the new rims soon.... heres a cool video link to of me and some of the crew just rolling in germany ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ioo-2wa66Wg hope you like !!
