Ok i got replacement front suspension mounts and they were so much smaller than the original ones! I used the bearing out of the old mounts and put then in the new ones! So basically i have put the top of the coilover onto the new mount used jack to push the piston up and put the silly little nut that clamps the bearing in place then the big metal plate then the top nut! But when i turn the wheels when parking i can hear the springs twanging! Have i missed something?? Should there be something else?

i also have 205 7.5 17inch and 215 on rear dropped into arch!

Okay tried doing a serch but still dnt rele know how to use it properly! Basically i bought my 1.8 16v @ start of feb, before hand it was left in a garage for 12 months! It had 12 mot on it when i parted with my cash! So all is good since then i've replaces various hoses bulbs and just cleaned her up! But here's the problem after about a a month of owning her after doing both front wheel bearings i noticed the breaks were feeling more and more spongy! I bled the brakes and all was good for a week or so! So replaced all brake fluid in system, and again it was ok for about a week! So for about a 3 weeks ive been bleeding my brakes! not good! However there is no fluid lost! And i cant see any leaking from any of the calipers! Any ideas! As just bought new coil overs and cant afford a garage this month??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Cheers! Oh sorry about the spelling!?!?!?

Okay i have purchased some new goodies! Coil overs all round! Just wondering how hard its gonna be to fit! I have cahnges suspension on my old R5 Gtt Which was ok! but nothing like coil overs! Also do i just use a deep ring spanner and an allen key to undo the nut on top of the shocker on the car atm? Also anyone know the price of the rubber bush things that fit on the sus in the engine bay as one of them is pretty worn???? Obviously i will set the ride height then go get the tracking and camber sorted out!! Cheers!

Anyone fancy helping a fellow corrado owner out??
Matty Newquay replied to herisites's topic in Drivetrain
Dude where are you from??? I recently did fron wheel bearings! Ok the 1st one did take me a long time but the second only took a couple of hours! Most of that was spent trying to undo various bit to get the hub off! I just used a socket to get the old one out then used a bench grinder to get rid of the shell still left in place! Then used a big bench vice and another socket to press the bearing back in! Sorted! Dont mind helpin out! But r u miles away! -
