Corrado vr6 storm Forsale is my Corrado storm. Very clean inside and out. A ton of history mainly 90% vw main dealer. 145k. Does not need for anything at all. Every single thing works as it should. Im after a working set of vr6 clocks. my temp gauge keeps getting stuck and then requires a few taps for it go back down when off. Tried fixing it but have made it worse. Thanks

Hi Lee, it's taken me some time to see this but yes it's my Storm!

2 days of messing about and I finally tracked it down to a loose connection in the iso plug. Can't belive after 15 years of fitting sound systems that it took me this long to find that out. Thanks guys for your help.

Checked and fuses all ok

Ok iv messed about with the barrel and key and still nothing. The unit is defiantly all wired up correctly with the memory and ignition wired correctly. As mentioned all whas been working fine for months and it's not the unit because iv swapped over another one and still not working. I will have to test with a volt meter tmrw properly. I will have to see if I can nick one from my friendly auto spare shop first.

Ok thats seems like a likly culprit. Ill give it ago later. If it is this, how can i fix it?

My alpine has been working fine and was all wired correctly on the ignition using iso plugs. Its been in for months now. Some reason this afternoon the unit will not switch on. Iv checked the fuses under tge dash and also swapped in another alpine and still nothing. Does anyone know what this fault could be? The only thing iv touched today in the car is the sunroof switch (unplugged and plugged back in) but i cant see this being related . Any help?

Ok just been having a quick read about these spal fans and slim line brackets. I have a couple of questions... Do these fans cool the engine a lot better than the originals? Where can I get the spal fans from and how much are they, what's the goal cost to get these installed? Are they simple to wire or is do I need a auto electrician? Thanks

I'm in the same boat here. I'm after a fan unit as myn is rumbling. Iv managed to get out the fans and the bracket shroud that holds it together without removing the front end but I don't think that I'll be able to get it back in the same way without damaging it or bending it. I removed the battery and top hose off the rad and managed to slide it out. Let me know how you get on in installing this back in.

Hi interested in the sump. Can somone tell other than the meterial, whats the difference between the one I have at the moment all I can see that its black. Does this allow hard cornering without the oil running to one side? Also is this more shallower?
