  1. If we were all against quirky spending sprees none of us would own Corrados :) too true :)
  2. ah right there we go! looking lovely mate, I shudder to think how much they set you back!

    9" Rims

What you talking about people in the back    hypothetically... :D

    9" Rims

9" on the rear and not too low is ok with 16s but there will still be some rubbing with people in the back etc

  6. Definitely. I've never seen the point of cars that have numberplates that cost the same as the car itself!
  7. Yeah same thing happened to me when I tried to stick metal number plates on, then I got pulled and fined £30 for not displaying it correctly :(

    Exhaust

I don't have mine on at the moment, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't necessarily be there...
  9. yeah I think it tidies it up a bit, plus without the VR6 badge it keeps them guessing :D
  10. Not sure to be honest cause it's on KW coilies, but it is pretty much wound all the way up (!) as when they were first on the cat guard would scrape going down B-roads!
  11. TBH i think it looks superb on the speedies, with that drop. Plus you'll have quite a good ride as compared with say 17s, if thats what you are thinking of. Yeah I am in two minds tbh. What I do actually need to do before anything else is get some decent tyres on the speedies as the crap rubber on there was definitely a major factor in causing the off to start with. And when I get some good tyres it would also be a good opportunity for a refurb of the speedies... (On a side note mytyres.co.uk are doing goodyear eagle f1 gs-d3s in 195/50 r15 size for £36.90 each!)
  12. Having had my little off a couple of months ago I moved my 'future' respray somehwhat ahead of its planned date. Decided to get it resprayed in the original colour and make a few little changes such as colour coding the rear badges, changing the front grill and leaving the bump strips off. Next steps include getting a 90mm splitter back on (had to replace the bumper after the accident and the one I got had a 50 on it), a full magnex exhaust inc decat and sometime in the future hopefully I'll be able to finally afford some alloys (which rests on the fact that I keep the car out of hedges this time round). But for now I'm very very happy with the job the spray shop did of both fixing the dented panels and the full respray...
  13. not sure about cost but black diamond are pretty good, they won't set any records but are better than standard discs imo

    RS 301's

11.5x15?! What Corrado were these on?! (What's an HA?)
  15. Fair point, I can see what you mean. Had mine dropped *a lot* when I first got the KWs on there (with the standard speedlines) and it was a nightmare even with the standard size tyres on, the cat guard would spark going down bumpy b-roads

    RS 301's

cheers, that's comprehensive to say the least! As junkie said, any chance on telling us which would be of use 'rado wise?
  17. When I enquired about getting Keskins in a 17x8.5 fitment everywhere I tried said I'd need arch work front and rear

    RS 301's

I'm a little bit in the dark concerning the RSs. Are the 301s the only ones that are 17"? Anyone care to give a quick rundown of the RSs (i.e. what car they were originally fitted to etc.)?
  19. Not practical in what sense?
  20. Yeah I quite like the tune too not sure who it's by though. Anyone know the car thats comes in at 25secs? It's literally sitting on the floor!
  21. I'm guessing most people will have had a glance at the rado videos on youtube and have come to the same conclusion as me - most are shit, but there is one I found that's a slideshow of photos of rados that, for once, are actually all pretty decent. Spotted quite a few well known ones on there, as well as a few forum cars (OSVs corrado being featured several times). If you can get over the stupid title it's worth a look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFPx46BtwnM
  22. cheers for the link, had seen it listed on the bay before but wasn't sure if it was a kamei one or not
  23. Had to replace the window trim between the bottom of the window and the door whilst mine was in for a respray. Ended up having to buy a pair from VW... at £80!!! No wonder VW parts sales always have a smile on their face...
