  1. I know there were around 97,000 corrados made and about 9,000 got to the UK, but does anyone know how many VR6s were made in all and how many reached these shores? (Also feel free to correct me if those figures are wrong!)
  2. Cheers for the info. Might have to make a call to the dealers then, didn't know they still stocked them!
  3. Seen as the rado didn't come to me with the owner's manual :( and I haven't yet got a repair manual (really need to get one!) can anyone tell me the location and number of the fuse for the foglights, or is there just one fuse covering all the lights at the front?
  4. Loving the polished speedlines, been thinking about getting mine done, looks especially good on a white rado though!
  5. Or you could try the Empire GFX red overlays for the all red look, I bought some the other week and am pretty happy with them: http://www.empiregfx.com/shop/home.php
  6. Ouch, sorry to hear that, my sister had a similar thing the other day driving her boyfriend's new RX-8  :D
  7. Cheers, you don't by any chance have any pics of them on a rado do you? All I seem to be able to find are pics of the 5 spoke "competition" TT alloys
  8. Yep it's a great balance. Did a 120 mile trip up the motorway today and it sounded just like standard when cruising, but as soon as I got on the A-roads... :D
  9. Yeah well happy with the BMC now it's on, sounds great at around 3000rpm then when it gets to about 4500/5000 it's like being in a spitfire with the windows down! :D :D :D
  10. For me personally it looks a hell of a lot better on the speedlines, but then I suppose the more sets of rims you have the more you can switch the look for shows :D How far has it been lowered? Coilovers or fixed rate?
  11. Are they a direct fit for the 5 stud rado VR6?
  12. @ RS VR6 - cheers for all the info mate, your man's rado has got the rims looking just right imo
  13. Is that with normal sized discs?
  14. By the way do you know if he had to fit adapters for them? Am I right in thinking the keskins are 5 x 112 rather than 5 x 100?
  15. To be honest I prefer it with the thinner wheels, with it that low really deep dish ones would look over the top imo. Also preserves the handling to a degree I guess!
  16. Ordered mine Thursday, got it this morning. Cool little keyring, good likeness of the rado, finish isn't perfect but then that adds to the handbuilt style imo. Only thing I would suggest is that it would be nice to do another VR6 style version with the speedline alloys on, but overall well worth a tenner!
  17. Do you know the width of the keskins on that car in the pic by any chance? I'm guessing they're 7.5" rather than 9" from the look of the pic?
  18. They do, but now I've seen them on a rado I do think they are a lot better suited to a golf tbh. I'm leaning towards keskin kt-1s now :D
  19. Chars very much mate, should have taken the time to search myself but you've saved me the hassle now. Nice one!
  20. Anybody got any pics of a rado on Brock B1s? I'm not sure whether they would suit it or not, but I always loved them on MK2 golfs. Would be interested to see what it looks like if anyone's got any pics?
  21. It is and indeed it should not! I just need to know what's supposed to prevent it - the tracking arm or...?
  22. Just had a look on BMC website and on Venom for prices but there is no CDA listed for the Corrado. I'm guessing the one you guys have used is the CDA that fits the 2.8 VR6 Golf?
  23. Ah question answered as I was writing... cheers :D
