That was the colour of my first Corrado, a 1990 valver. IMO the best colour they ever came in, wonder if I still have the touch up stick somewhere? that would be deadly if you did man... and your RIGHT! it is the best colour!!!! You know it!!!! 8)

Guys.. I have a terrible pimped gear knob... came with the my G60... it's awful.. too awful to show in fact... Can anyone reveal where I can get a cool gear knob... something that doesn't look seriously cheap - which most do - I bought one off Ebay recently and binned it - turned out to be a piece of sh*te!!!! Really cheap looking... so I'm stuck... Any ideas knocking around... maybe post an image of your gear knobs- kudos to the coolest one!!!

Oh Lordie!... that's a fair point!!!! Finally got my G60 purring like a kitten!!!! or maybe I should say a lion!!! now install new subframe and I'm good to go!! Until the next 'event' at least!

For real?.. but surely the subframe on the VR6 would be different?

Guys.. as I mentioned before I need a new subframe for my G60 I've sourced one in great order.. but it's from a 2Litre 16V... will they match? The breaker is holding it for me for two days... does anybody know whether they'll match properly... Assistance/advice urgently needed...

Again guys many thanks for the great advice... as my Clutch has also just failed (these things happen in three they say!) I'm going to concentrate on getting that right and then get back to the subframe issue... Will keep you guys posted...

Happened once before... but after a bit of fiddling it was fine and not problem since then so I forgot about it... yesterday it was totally seized up though... wouldn't budge once I started the engine!

yeah.. the clutch does feel a little soft too! is that the general concensus?

Gears engage fine when it's not running... only problem when ignition turned on...what do you think?

Alright.. it's seems things on happen in pairs... My gearstick stuck last night... this is completely new as car was running like a dream... but last night I couldn't get into any gear.. not first, not reverse.. nowt... almost as if no gears existed!!! Any ideas what this might be about? Does this mean I need a new glutch/ gearbox?... if so where could I get needed parts for a 1992 G60... I'm learning as I go with this... still love the car though!

one garage told me that if it was powerblasted there'd be nothing left!!!!... another (second opinion) said that it wasn't as bad as all that... that maybe a painting would do... Have you any idea where I'd locate new G60 wishbones with bushings etc? - I'm learning as I go with this...

Well... I did it... I bought my first Corrado G60... I've been watching them since I was 15 years old... I've been in love with them for years... a dream of mine has always been to own one! BUT.. and there always is a but... she's failed the NCT.. basically this is the Irish MOT... but it's very very strict... especially on rust! So it turns out that even though she passed the MOT just before I bought here in the UK (Corrado's are very rare in Ireland and I bought mine in the UK six weeks ago and imported her)... I need a new subframe... and I do mean the entire thing... roll bar, wishbone, driveshaft, steering, the whole thing... Can anyone tell me does the Corrado share its subframe with another VW... I've heard that the VR6 uses the same as the MK3.. but I've also been told that the G60 frame is different... I'll probably need to search some junk yards or something... I pretty much broke myself getting this car... and now I've no idea how much this sort of repairs will cost... Any advice (the more the better) you have on this would be greatly appreciated...
