  1. Not are mate, hoping for it to see the road at some point this year, managed to get back there today and got some bits bolted onto the engine, finished wrapping. The loom and for some of the carpets back in with the underlay and sound deafening back in
  2. Tape has arrived, engine mount and some gaskets have turned up, some more bits at the dealership, need to paint my calipers and get them ready to go on, loads to do still
  3. Bought some new calipers today, no sign of the loom tape yet, gonna get some brake pipe and possibly start making the lines up at the weekend
  4. Any more I'm open to offers :)
  5. Haha yea I'll try work it iut, I wasn't planning on getting a swg but I was going to try and make something out of a mk2 outfit!
  6. Yea that's em Matt, and no I haven't offered them up yet! They're gonna have to fit now becusse I don't have any jets now haha! I'm very much a measure once cut once get a new piece of wood kinda person :D
  7. Yea ive got the bodyshop to get rid of my jet so I'm gonna have to put some mk4 efforts onto my bonnet
  8. Shame to see your selling up kip!? I'm guessing Jude isn't? How many do you actually have now? I'm guessing your it leaving ownership totally
  9. Wrapping the loom is very boring and tedious! We have managed to do a lot of it now but I've ran out of loom tape, I've ordered some more from ebay and just need to wait for it. Need to get some bolts for the alternator and then I can continue! The powdercoat on the bit for the power steering pump is a bit thick and I didn't have a file to clean it off so that cocked that up
  10. Haha it's no problem mate! Nice to have someone different to talk to.
  11. So, I cocked spring dub isn't for another 3 weeks ha!
  12. So with a miscalculation of when a show is I will a probably be back at the car tomorrow. Started to wrap all the loom and managed about 2 metres of it with a roll of tape!
  13. This Sunday is a no go for me I'm afraid :( spring dub at Harrogate! If El doesn't go surfing tomorrow afternoon I might be popping through tomorrow afternoon!
  14. The cylinder head on mine keeps reacting for no reason, it was sprayed with brake cleaner and then wire wheels and it just bubbles up every time! I'm hoping its hidden because I don't think I can do it again!
  15. Btw the Hammerite spray is appalling when it's really cold, I ended up with it sat infront of the heater before using it outside and then back infront of the heater, if it's a part you won't see it might be worth using a good brush and some Hammerite brush on smoothrite
  16. yea im fine with that chris! :)
  17. yes mate, when you wanting it :)
  18. haha nvm eh! Outer joints arent that dear so i wouldnt worry too much! CV163N Is the shaftec part number IIRC!
  19. Various Bits from my 94 VR6 Radiator Fans & Mount Fans and motors work perfect but the outer housing needs a refurb. From what I can see it hasnt rotten through anywhere on it ?50 Front Lower Subframe. Solid ?30 Headlight Plastic Surrounds. I screwed my old grille into these so they would need filling to make them look good. Or an eyebrow spoiler would cover it. No cracks on them. ?10 Lower Rear Subframe. Has come off a mk2/3 so hasnt got the rear locating tabs, but from what i can see they arent required. Everything else fits perfectly, I had this on while mine was getting powdercoated so its no longer required. ?30 Pair of bottom arms, Not sure on the condition of the front bushes but the rears arent there! Ideal from someone wanting to get powdercoated and fit TT bushes ?20 Rear spoiler and motor. Needs the spoiler painting as i have no idea what colour it is! Motor worked perfectly. ?30 Carbon Fibre (look) battery cover ?5 Pair of VR6 front Hubs and bearings. Bearings are totally shot. Ideal for stripping and powdercoating! ?30 Everything is collection only I can meet for fuel costs. They can be collected from Bridlington or Scarborough List Date: 1/31/2015 Location: Scarborough, United Kingdom For more info, click here to view the original listing: Various Bits from my 94 VR6 -------------------------------------- On Sale For: ?100.00 (Local Pickup Only) -------------------------------------- Mobile friendly version: Various Bits from my 94 VR6 Go Mobile: Download the free Panjo iOS app now!
  20. dunno if im gonna get to go to the car this weekend! got an alternator and powersteering pump now so i can continue to assemble the engine. I'm gonna clean up the power steering pipes i can so i dont have to buy new. will take them to a garage and see if they can clean them out for me to make sure there is no crap left in them :)
  21. The hubs are easy enough to get off, it's a case of taking out the bottom ball joint, track rod end and the two shocker bolts and they are out! I have the best tool in the world for removing the inner driveshaft bolts, a 1m long splined bit that reaches right into the gearbox, I've got the lovely job of refitting and greasing up crappy boots!
  22. Swapped the arms around, put my new outer cvs into the hubs so I can roll it around without buggaring the new bearings. Just need to clean out the inside and I can get the carpets laid back in, need new alternator and when I've got the new inner joints I can start putting the driveshafts back together
  23. Looking good mate, I keep coming across bits I haven't painted which makes the whole process stop! We're gonna have some engines that look very similar ;) haha :)
